It amazes us that this place isn't more crowded. My wife and I have been there probably 10 times, and I've enjoyed every dish that we've ordered.

We've had a lot of really bad dinners recently but Amarin Thai has excelled recently, with tonight being great. We have a 3.5 year old child who is not picky but who loves food and once we're in a restaurant, the food and drinks need to appear quickly. They were quick, offered very nice and attentive service, had really good food at a good price. = Thank you. In the past, they've been sometimes good and sometimes bad, but recently, they've been good every time.

I like the Bun Bo Hue here, It's the best I ever eaten for now. The soup base are so favored, it taste rich lemon grass, and the spicy hot pepper was cured in the soup. The spiciness is good enough for the taste of hint, but not enough for the burn. The parking is a breeze because there is a lot, but the down side, for me, I live in San Francisco, and driving down there can take some time. The service are fast, and food comes out right at five minutes after ordering.
Pros: Bun Bo Hue is very good here.
Cons: I'm from the San Francisco, don;t want to drive this far all the time.

This Vietnamese restaurant is located in the shopping center called Lion Plaza. We went early on a Saturday night to avoid the crowds.
The seating arrangements were crowded. Milk was not available even though it was listed on the menu--unusual for Asian restaurants. The food was okay, although I did find part of a paper packaging in my greens. Service could be improved--no automatic refills in our teapot (only 1 of which was provided for a party of 10).

Anise Cafe is located at a very un-expected location. However, once you have gotten over the location you will be in for a nice surprise. This is truly a treasure. There are lots of Vietnamese Restaurant in San Jose but only one Anise. It feels so warm and cozy. I would reccomend a Mango Mojito & Lychee Martini. Spring roll dipping in peanut sauce is perfect..fresh & crisp lettuce and cucumber. Mango & Water Crest Salad drizzled with lemongrass sauce is delicious. I would also order Anise Fried Rice...you will not find this anywhere else in San Jose. Mango Flan is a great way to end your meal. I love the space the food and the service were amazing. I will definitely come back.

Ohhh...where to start. Ariake is friendly, polite, and most importantly, tasty! They have the biggest California Rolls you've ever seen; the nigiri is fresh; the tempura is hot; the ambiance is fun. They have sushi boats too. This particular location is a little on the crowded side, but seating usually doesn't take longer than 10-15 minutes. If you are looking for a cost effective sushi meal, this is the place!
Pros: Inexpensive, Tasty, Good Service

Love this place. My daughter loves to sit at the bar and watch the boats float by with the sushi on them. It is very fresh and we have loved everything we have tried. Plenty of food for the price. The lunch prices are great. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is very good.

I've come to this restaurant for many years and the food keeps me coming back! The price is so reasonable. They have these deliciously cheap buffets every tuesday, wednesday, thursday for only 6.75 can you believe that? Hmmm. So good. I also enjoy their tamarin crabs, their grilled fish, and noodle dishes are the top of the line. I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic date, a good eat with co-workers, great for weddings, and birthdays.

This is a great little neighborhood Thai restaurant. It's been there for years but it looks like they've remodeled it recently. Very tasteful decor and tasty food! The pad thai is just right, the curries are very flavorful and they serve gelato! What a way to end a great Thai meal! We love to go later in the evening on a weekend when the crowds are gone. With the soft lighting, it's quite romantic. I highly recommend!
Pros: Excellent food and great ambience.
Cons: None to speak of although the kitchen can get noisy sometimes.
