I have always been satisfied with my cut and color! I have not had a problem with my color fading fast. It has looked great. I take the advice of my stylist and use the products recommended (the products they sell are wonderful). The staff are always friendly and attentive. Sure it is a bit costly, but this is Silicon Valley and you are going to pay to have something done right. I have been to a lot of other places and paid less, only to be dissatisfied. I would totally recommend W's Salon.

What an experience. It has a beautiful atmosphere, and the staff is very nice. Jennifer is a hair artist. She can look at you face and cut the best cut for you. Try her, and you be disappointed!

What is there to say but that W's salon is in a League to be compared with the TOP Professional in the Beauty Biz! With the expansion of the salon(which is a Good sign that they are doing something right!), I know that they have already been recognized with some of the TOP Designers and Fashion Industry professionals Nationally and Internationally. Way to go William, you and YOUR Staff deserve a high Review in my book! You Guys ROCK! You can only get better from here!
Question: "Now why would some of the TOP Modeling Agencies send their models to them to update and Style their looks for the Fashion Industry?" I rest my case!

Pros: To be Compared to the Posh Salons in LA and SF. Love the Special Service you get during the hair prepped before the Style Cut.
Cons: Space. But not for Long!

I read the reviews and decided to try it. It is small, with seating for 3 inside and a bench outside, but it is Santana Row and the rent is expensive.
The service was good and they do carry a great selection of Kerastase and Bumble & Bumble. The manager, Alan, I believe, was not very attentive, but my stylist seemed to know what she was doing, if a little chatty with the other stylists. It is a little distracting to have someone working on you carrying on a conversation with someone else.
The cut was fine and the color appeared ok, but one of the reviews mentioned fading as a problem. It was! The color fades out so quickly that you really don't get to enjoy the color. Maybe, it's to keep you coming back frequently. The salon's own little water bottles are a nice touch.
I probably wouldn't go back because of the fading and the salon is expensive to patronize frequently.
A curious thing I did notice when I read the reviews is that every time there's a negative review a positive one seems to be posted within a few days. Hmm? I wonder if someone at the salon keeps track of the comments and posts a positive review whenever there's a bad one. We'll see how quickly a positive review follows this one.
Pros: Products, nice touches of personalizaton.
Cons: Color fading and price.

Why is it when someone reviews a shop or restaurant in Santana Row, they always say its snobby?? Give credit where credit is due. Santana Row has brought up the value of everything around it. I've been going to W's Salon since I moved into Santana Heights and I have to say that I've never found it to be too small or crowded. Yes, it is busy, that just means they do great work. The prices are comparable to most of the salons in the area, I know I've been to most of them. I keep coming back because they actually care about me, not just how much they can get out of me. Really, the best way to know about the place is to go check it out for yourself. Get your own opinion.

The good stylists have moved out of this salon and down the road on San Carlos. The manager at the front desk seems to have very little time for the clients, as he's always going out for coffee.
The cut was mediocre for $65 and the color faded almost as fast as they put it on and that was outrageous. My suggestion is to find something a little more reasonable. They do do have great products in Kerastase and Bumble $ Bumble, but the salon is cramped, with 2 chairs in the waiting area and not many more than that for their stylists.
Free water? Where have you been? For what W charges, I'd give gift certificates to Starbucks, across the street. The manager's usually there.

William has styled my hair for over 8 years and I am never disappointed with his cuts or color. He trains with the best and it shows in his clients and his portfolio. He has styled for numerous fashion shows and photoshoots. The salon has a nice modern feel and his staff is very friendly. I love the Bumble and Bumble and Karastase hair products.

My boyfriend and I went to get our haircut last weekend. We are both extremely happy. My older sister has been getting her hair done by Willie for over 10 years and won't go to anyone else. Willie has been cutting my hair on and off for about that long as well. I don't live in San Jose, so it is hard for me to make the commute sometimes. I needed a change and so decided to make an appointment with Willie at his salon. I knew that I didn't even need a plan for my hair because I was confident he would give me something modern and stylish. The salon is perfect in size and decor, plus everyone makes you feel really comfortable. My boyfriend got his hair done by Deanna and he was very impressed with the time she spent on his hair. He didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. She didn't even use clippers on his hair, only scissors. That was a first for him. You will for sure walk out of this salon feeling good and ready to show your new hairdo.
