I was pleased with the management and maintenance when I first moved in over a year ago, but I've decided not to renew my lease after I've watch this place slowly degrade. One Pearl Place is a luxury apartment complex located near a light rail station, next door to low-income housing. It's often noisy in the mornings and late at night. You'll often hear sirens heading towards the apartments across the way. Parking is also a problem inside and outside of the garage. Tenants don't seem to know the difference between an actual parking stall and illegal parking. Parking outside is usually taken by non-residents. Maintenance response time has also slowed since the complex opened and the security guard that used to roam the grounds is long gone. We are also being charged for water and sewer (most apt complexes pay the sewer and water utilities) . Despite the problems, there are a lot of amenities. The complex has a quarter-length pool, hot tub, and a small gym. The gym consists of a multi-purpose weight machine, two bikes, two ellipticals and a treadmill. The front desk also does provide a concierge service that signs for packages. They also have a deal with directTV, so satellite TV installation is quick and easy.

The management staff needs Public Relations class very badly... especially Terry. They are so very arrogant. If there is a maintenance issue, these so called maintenance staff makes you feel miserable. I had my parents visiting me ... Terry called me and fired me as if I had committed some illegal activites. DO NOT expect your deposit back.... However well mainted your aparment is... they have all the loop holes to swindle you deposit. I lived there for over a year... I am glad that I move out.. If you have a choice, please do not rent the lUXURIOUS CHERRY WOODS APARTMENT....
