i had boycotted petrillos san gabriel since many years ago coz the girls at the counter were so rude my girlfriend placed order over phone maggie and when we got there they made us wait over an hour for another pizza no apologies, nothing and they just sat around the counter gossiping when they were finally done with the order they had the audacity to give out my pizza that was preordered over the phone to some guy that came 10 minutes later than me their exact words "heres your pizza some guy mikey didnt pick up" MIKEY? U MEAN MAGGIE AND THATS MY PIZZA U JUST GAVE AWAY THE ONE WHERE YOUR CRUST STUFFED EARS COULDNT ACCYRATELY TAKE MY ORDER WHEN I CALLED AN HOUR AGO Pros: yum pizza Cons: POOR customer service

we have been going to Petrillow for over 43 years, we were dating when we were going there. We still return there even though it is a hour and a half away. Sunday we went to the one in Glendora which we do because it is a little closer to us. First of all we are informed that they no longer will carry the blush or white zin by the carafe, will just carry the dryer wines by the glass or bottle. I am not a dry wine person so I was not happy. But they had a little left over so we did get the blush. But the next time I guess we are out of luck. But when we received out pizza , we ordered a medium, there wasn't as much of a topping as ussual especiallt cheese. We didn't have as much left over as we usually do and it was put in a flimsy box to take home. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED with the pizza. We will try the one in So. San Gabriel and if it is the same, sadly to say we will not ever go back and we will never brag about the best pizza we have ever had nor will we ever reccommend it to anyone. And what a shame after all these years. And the owner will know how long we go back because we were going there when Shirley worked there and they had Royal Host ruby port and he said he was a bus boy when we were going there. Sadly disappointed. And I loved the pizza. Linda Lotter

I have had dined all over the US and this is by far my favorite pizza restaurant. Unfortunatly, someone left a scathing review. I have found the service to be very good. If I I was displeased , I would not resort to childish name calling. By resorting to such immature behavior you have proven that you are an unresonable person. This is a small business with a limited amount of staff. It is difficult to serve a large group even in in the finest restaurants. If a reservation is for 34 people, you are holding about half the tables in the little establishment from people waiting dine. Those patrons are no doubt pressing the hostess to be seated as well. I suggest people try Petrillo's for themselves and enjoy the best pizza ever. Pros: great food Cons: I have to drive quite a bit to get there

In 1975 my wife and I left California to become residents of Alaska. I can truly say that the only thing we miss about SoCal are the great pizzas we used to get at Petrillos. Yes you often had to stand in line before you could get a table and they didn't deliver but it was always worth the wait for their great pizzas. I don't think I've ever had a better pizza anywhere including the 4 years I spent in New York while in the Air Force. If we ever go back for a visit there is no doubt Petrillos will be at the top of our list of of places to visit. Pros: Best pizza anywhere Cons: None I can think of.
