We dropped past for lunch today and got the best value steak meal that $10 can buy (12.50 if you want a mega-sized T-bone). If you like steak and live in San Francisco, get to this place immediately! (the owners are looking to sell this business sometime in the not too distant future). There was a patrons-only parking lot on Cesar Chavez (west bound just before mission) and awesome service from the owners. They proudly display that customers come first on their apparel and lived up to the reputation. My massive medium rare t-bone steak was juicy, succulent and delicious (and the baked potato was soft and buttery - just right).

I'm going to The Palace Family Steak House tonight and I can't wait. I almost never eat steak, but when I do I go to The Palace! I love the fact that they've been there since 1969 and have never remodeled! They have the best kitschy decor, including year-round xmas lites and the flags of many countries and sports teams. Best of all, you can get a steak dinner for under $10, and they really know how to cook'em. If you want it rare,it'll be RARE, know what I mean? Love Them! I'm a regular customer of place Steak house. i always see to it that I visit their place or sometimes order to go twice to three times a week. Most of the time I order T-Bone Steak and it's really great. The taste is excellent and I really enjoy having dinner with Palace Steak on our dining table. Keep up that excellent taste of your steaks. More power! Pros: Affordable
