For $30 a head you'd expect some level of service. It took us an hour and 15 minutes to get seated, after which it took another 20 minutes to get a waiter to even come by -- we had to ask. By the time we placed our order, we had been waiting over two hours. The food came relatively quickly, only because half of our party ordered fish which the waiter failed to mention was only 'seared'. Wouldn't a good waiter mention the house cooking style when it's not written in the menu? Are you supposed to guess? To top it all off, the waiter didn't ask me how I wanted my steak grilled (I assume they actually grill, not broil). I had to catch him and tell him I wanted it medium rare. Isn't this a STEAK HOUSE? Im sick of places in this town that charge for prestige. Pros: Decent Food, Not much else... Cons: Poor Service, Inept Staff, Overpriced

Making reservations three days in advance for a party of 14, Izzy's said they could accommodate us at 8:30pm on a Friday night. We arrived at 8:20pm that evening (minus two people), and were told that our party had to be intact in order to be seated. At about 8:35, the last two people in my group had arrived. We were told that our reservation was moved to 8:45. This was unprofessional because multiple members of my party had called to confirm the reservation at 8:30. Also, no one in my party had received a call regarding the time change. Another hostess said the table was being cleaned up. As I spoke, the first hostess hostilely insisted that we were reserved for the later time. After practically being yelled at, my party left. If you like terrible service, then Izzy's is the place to be. Pros: none, none, none Cons: , unfriendly, crowded

Izzy's is one of my favorite places for a steak and cocktail. Nice bar and friendly crew. The style of the place is from 25-30 years ago and is appealing as a change of pace. I enjoy the New York sirloin (medium) and served with potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach. Always good and the creamed spinach is the best ever. Only downfall is the wait staff can be slow and don't seem very friendly or motivated.

Izzy's does meat well. We enjoyed the Filet and Prime Rib entrees. The sides of Spinach and potato au gratin and really good (very rich). The overall food experience was nice and you definitely won't leave hungry. The only downside is you feel a little rushed here, and is pricy for the style (casual) of restaurant. We each had a cocktail, and an entree, and split appetizer, desert, and low-end wine for $120.

Ive been to most all of the other steak houses in town and by far is this one the best! From the old school steak house ambiance to the attentive wait staff this place is my favorite. Izzys own potatoes, and the skirt skirt steak is fabulous, but you have to the prime rib is to die for. If I had to say anything bad about this place, it would be that fact that the Prime Rib is only served Friday through Sunday and not every night.

A good-sized bar sets you up with starter cocktails, we had the fried oysters and calamari for appetizers. Dinner was a prime-rib for me, filet mignons for others. Thumbs-up on the filet mignon and creamed spinach/au gratin potatoes for sides. Desserts are basic, they serve a good cheesecake and tangy key lime pie. Prices are reasonable, $20-$28 for an entree, service is very professional. A good, casual spot for beef after a drink in the Marina... Pros: Very good service, Decent prices
