What Mi Lindo Peru is missing in decor or atmosphere it definitely makes up for with amazing Peruvian food. I love the spicy salsa that's served with french bread, their ceviches, and of course, sangria. Entrees are also great - huge portions of fresh seafood or lomo saltado (or pollo) with fries mixed in. Serious comfort food. Prices are cheaper than their competition as well. Very friendly family run place.

I took my husband here for his bday on a Friday night, the food and wine menu was great and service was excellent. We sat outside and with the heaters it was very comfortable. We had the gnocchi and a steak, both were awesome. I would definitely come back.
Pros: great service, wine and food
Cons: its north beach, so obviously the parking

This place is a San Francisco landmark coffee shop -
the menu is old time coffee shop - very popular with the
ship repair people back in the day - today it is a popular
place for anyone working within walking distant - the food
is good - kind of greasy - and the service is good - eat

Ever since Fresca opened on West Portal, I've enjoyed it. Although it started out serving burritos it quickly realized that the clientele wanted more of the great seafood and slow cooked meats that it did so well.
Now with three branches open in San Francisco, the Ceviche is well known and the Pescado ala Mancho continues to rock.
For lunch I also recommend the steak salad, just great!

The food tasted great, it was seasoned great, and the service was fantastic. The first time I ever had gone to a Churrascaria was 15 years ago in Rio -- the food and experience was awesome! Espetus brought me back there. I strongly recommend taking family and friends.
Pros: Service, and food quality, and taste
Cons: Can't think of one at this time

I went to dinner at Canto do Brazil after watching their review on KQED Check Please Bay Area, and I was very impressed. My boyfriend and I had a great dinner and we ordered everything that we saw on the TV show and is was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!! I've gone back to the restaurant about 4 more times taking other friends. You must try this place.
Pros: reasonable prices, delicious food, strong drinks
Cons: parking, make reservations on weekends

I love to go to Cafe do brazil at least once a week. Lunch is the best time, and I like to sit in the sunny window on Market Street. Unfortunately they don't serve the Churasco barbecue for lunch. But once in a while I take friends there for a weekend feast, the meats are so tasty! My favorites are the desserts: Passionfruit mousse and the flan... Delicious! Better: Heavenly!
Pros: Quality, Friendlyness, good price
Cons: no Churasco for lunch, Desserts heavy on cal, No parking

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this restaurant! The food is absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. One of my favorite things on the menu is the lamb skewers w/ coconut rice. Also, the cocktails are unbelievable.....very exotic. The restaurant's decor is awesome. I love the shoes hanging from the lights above the bar, the candles hanging from the ceiling, and the colorful window shutters, Kevin (owner) and Gil (manager) truly take this restaurant to another level. They make you feel like you have been friends for life. It is a great feeling to walk into one of the best restaurants in the city and have the owner and manager know you by name. You have to check this place out!
Pros: Food, Service, Staff
Cons: A little bit hidden...sign hard to read
