Awesome view and the food was delicious however, as with most things in San Francisco, very pricey. Lunch for two people (crab salad, fish'n'chips, cup of clam chowder, 1 soda, and 1 water) came to $70.00! BUT, the fish'n'chips was the BEST I have had in San Francisco, without a doubt! Clam chowder was medium to above average, and the crab salad was very good. Recommended if you've got money to burn, otherwise, buy a couple of hot dogs and take a walk on the beach!

We have been going to the Cliff House champagne brunch for years (we've found the other brunch's food isn't as good) and really enjoy it. We were disappointed when they remodeled, but the actual room looks pretty much the same and the food is exactly the same. For awhile they even had the same servers, but now there are some new ones who are very good. They have really good popovers, some good seafoods (all the salads and many of the dishes have no dairy which is great for my mom who is allergic) and they are really responsive if you ask them for something different. A great brunch!

The sit down restaurant is pretty bad, but the champagne buffet brunch is really good. They have lots of seafood and salads and delicious popovers! The service is great, and the view is amazing! We've been going to the Cliff House brunch for years and will continue to go. The price is typical for an upscale brunch.

The Cliff House restaurant has a terrific setting, right on top of the hill at Ocean Beach. The setting inside is also terrific. There food selection is pretty good, along with there service. Foods are for the most part pretty good, and you'll leave with a good feeling at the place. The prices however will leave you yearning for more out of the place, which will probably leave you with a feeling that this place should be left more for special occasions, then regular dinning.

The historic Cliff House Restaurant is a great place to visit. The old building is a delight and diners can enjoy a great meal in Victorian elegance. The prices can be a bit high, but it is worth it when you want to enjoy a nice meal in a very special place. In addition to the great atmosphere inside, the Cliff House Restaurant has a lot to offer outside too. The beach below is a great place to collect sand dollars. These round white crustation's shells have a flower shape in the center and are quite lovely. It is one of the few beaches I know of where these shells are easily found. The ruins of the Sutro Baths are fun located within walking distance as well. These ruins are the last remains of the once opulent Sutro Bath House which burned to the ground many years ago and once housed an extensive collection of Egyptian artifacts. These artifacts are now in the collection of San Francisco State University.

I miss the ambaince and the opulence that the Old Cliff House baosted before the refurbishments. The new look is very stark and clinical. The food however is till amazing. And the views are amazing, no matter where you dine, you will have a great view of the ocean, and may be as lucky as we were to catch a glimpse of a migrating whale. The food is great. The service is good, noticed a much busier atmosphere lately. The Creme Brulee is to die for!!
