Polly Ann has some really interesting flavors and some normal ones too. They also have a big wheel, and the adventurous can have them spin the wheel to decide what type of ice cream you'll get. You could win a free scoop but you have to get what the wheel says. They also give free ice cream cones to dogs. This was mentioned on the Food Network (Anthony Bourdain's show) but it's actually really good (most of their references are bad, in my opinion). It's a fun place to get ice cream in the Sunset!

I love Polly Ann. They have really interesting ice cream flavors and a big wheel that if you're adventurous you can have them spin, but you have to try the ice cream it lands on. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it landed on butter pecan for me. They also have free ice cream for dogs! A great San Francisco landmark.

This is the best ice cream shop in the San Francisco area. The shop is family owned and ice cream is made on the premises. They have a wide selection of ice cream to choose from. If you don't know flavor to choose, spin the wheel and whatever flavor it lands on is what you'll get. They even give doggy cones if you bring in your pet. Very friendly staff.

Polly Ann's ice cream has been around for years. They are a family owned business that has blossomed in the recent years. Their ice cream is home made, creamy and very flavorful. They have unique and uncommon flavors such as green tea, lychee, taro, etc. The ice creams are also now sold in smaller retail supermarkets like Ranch 99. I love their ice cream and if you haven't tried it, you definitely need to.
