Originally, they wanted to call this place McSushi, but the big, bad corporate lawyers would have none of that unauthorized McMcing. So, they settled on We Be Sushi, which is one of my favorite restaurant names and even with the million gazillion other sushi places around now, still has that ability to satisfy that gnawing, maddening raw fish craving that strikes us hearty urban dwellers now and then. A bowl of miso, some seaweed salad, a few rolls, cups of green tea – there's is something so fundamentally healthy and fulfilling about this combination. And really, there's no reason not to satiate one's primal urges at We Be.

This place has been in the sunset for years but they closed down so now I've been frequenting their other location in the Mission district. One of the more affordable sushi restaurants in the city that offers lunch and dinner at a super reasonable price. I especially love their lunch specials as you can get full or about $8 bucks. Of course, parking is a little difficult, especially on the weekends but definitely worth the trek to at least try out the place.
