The only thing I like there is the fried rice, fish cake, and their fast service. The red curry is too sweet and the soup is too sour. More

Keep hearing about this great Thai place in the neighborhood, finally tried it out. It turned out to be one of the Osha. They have three locations in SF. The one on 2nd street is fancy. This one on Geary offer faster service with cheaper price, but food is delicious! you wont' be disappointed. I love their noddle dishes and garlic chicken. They dont' serve Osha's sea at this location, so i was a bit disappointed. But, if you go to the one on 2nd street, be sure to try their "Osha's sea", it's the best thai seafood dish i ever tried!

Osha is a great place to go when you're in search of fast, cheap and tasty no-frills Thai food. The pad thai was one of the best I've had in a long time, and the cucumber salad that comes with the sate (one of my Thai restaurant benchmarks) was excellent - nice and vinegary. Also, their Thai iced tea - one of my favorite drinks in the world - is huge, totally yummy, and only $1.50! Service is definitely fast - our appetizers and entrees arrived at virtually the same time, which made dinner even quicker. A good spot to grab a quick dinner before or after enjoying cocktails at any of the bars in the area.

I wanted to start this review with a witty anecdote comparing Osha Thai Noodles to its federal counterpart OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, but there's just no comparison between a federal bureacracy put in place to protect workers while on the job and an affordable place to get a mid-drinking dinner.
Osha noodles is smack dab in the middle of the TenderNob at Geary and Leavenworth, right next to Rye and near the Indian and Pakistani restaurant corridor on Jones. Getting there around 8:15, prime dinner time, there was a line - but the turnover was so fast that we were sitting by 8:30 and eating by 8:45.
The food ranged from average to better-than-average. The Thai Iced Tea was very nice, and considering it was the size of two normal Thai Iced Teas from most other restaurants, it was a real bargain. Sate pork ($5.95 for 4) was fine if not extremely memorable but the fried wontons were outstanding ($5.95 for 12) - evoking memories of fried wontons on the East Coast. The main courses were in the $6.95 range, and my Spicy Laht Nah - spicy chicken and flat noodles with broccoli, peppers and straw mushrooms was very good ans satisfying. The best part? For two iced teas, two appetizers and two main courses, we only spent $31!
Osha isn't a destination restaurant by any means - but it's a fantastic place to go when you're in the neighborhood looking for an affordable, fast meal.

There is no other place I've ever been that's as close to an authentic Thai experience as the original Osha Thai noodle house. Beautiful Thai waitresses; Thai pop on the stereo; jars of fish sauce, chili sauce, crushed peanuts, vinegar, on a little spinning caddie, JUST LIKE every restaurant in Thailand; if you ask for the food spicy, they will actually make it hot... on that last point, I will say that the spiciest dish I ever had was here. Eating it, I thought my brains were going to melt out of my head, so word to the wise, you might want to back off on asking for spicy because it's way off the scale of American restaurants. That being said, the pad thai, papaya salad, all the soups, EVERYTHING is great here. And it's open late. And the tea is free. FREE TEA!

Great Thai food at relatively (For San Francisco at least) low cost. The food is Awesome and the service is great. Great many options available for lunch in a hurry or a leisurely dinner. The costs are relatively low and the soups here are amazingly awesome. Always remember that the Thai food or any Asian food maybe a little spicy So remember to make sure that the food you ask for is spiced up only that much that you can handle. But i just love this place

Good Thai food at good reasonable price. Well this is the place to go for that. The food is really good and price is not that high also. When you have craving for some nice spicy food late at night OSHA is the place to go. Very quick service and its open late. You might have to wait for some time on a busy night. The place is little weird when it comes to waiting room. Since its not that huge people come in to the place to wait and last time I went there I had people all around me and over my head while I was eating. (They were waiting for their table). Food quality is good but they have problem with consistency. My favorite is chicken with eggplant. If you don’t mind the people and would like a quick bite to eat at reasonable price this is the place to go. Its one of my favorites.

I agree the decor and location cannot be beat. I live only a few blocks away and couldn't wait to try our my "neighbourhood Thai." Disappointing! I try the Pad Thai which should be one of the best dishes in any casual Thai restaurant since it's so standard, but OSHA's pad thai was gluey and oversweet-- a negative comment read on several other reviews. The meat on the lamb satay was good, but it was on the specials menu. And, the sauces that came with the spring rolls and the satay were also over the top-- too much, too strong as if drowning us in the key flavours of Thai cuisine would hide OSHA's shoddy technique. Desserts look temping, but that's all I'm getting next time...

I usually order in from this place, and I have to say that they are really very quick at delivering food. If I had to eat out, I would not frequent this place as much mainly because of the inconsistency in taste. For example, I ordered in once and the food was awesome and perfectly prepared. Another time, it was bland even though I had asked for it to be spicy, and it wasn't as tasty. The soup here is just okay. But spicy fried rice is delicious! So I would say overall good for a take-out/delivery in my area.
