The best bloody mary's and some of the best food in general

I have never had a bad meal here and friends from out of town all want to go here at least once. The decor is great and the food is wonderful.

And yes, the roast chicken is amazing! My only recommendation is to order a salad to go with it (the chicken and stuffing is more than enough for an entree -- but the salad makes it complete).

When I'm in doubt where to go -- this is usually one of the options on my list. Except for brunch -- almost impossible to get in the door without a reservation. I tried it once for brunch, waited 30 minutes for a table, but had an amazing time!

Good food - reliable

Tried and true - always good. This is an old standby for market street dining. One of the best roast chickens you will every eat; also, they have an excellent wine list and selection of oysters. One thing to remember: don't do on a whim - make a reservation. The atmosphere is very cool and open.

Eat more oysters

And your life will be full. Soak it up in your stomach with a juicy burger, but skip the fries! They are these teeny tiny little matchstick thingies that are just on a plate so they get cold really fast and then they are not good at all. But you can watch all the eapole around you eat raost chicken and wonder if it is really as good as they seem to think.

Zuni offers delicious, earthy food

If you're in the mood to splurge and enjoy some healthy and delicious food, then Zuni is the place for you. It was recommended to me by all of my friends before I finally made the reservation. Their fish selections are mouthwatering and they offer an impressive list of oyster options. So go ahead and enjoy!
