For the same cost as one hour of parking at the Macy's parking lot, you can treat yourself to the pho special or the pho tai (rare beef). Delicious!
Pros: Taste, Value, Authenticity
Cons: Service, location

If you have or haven't ever had vietnamese food, you must go to this restaurant! I eat at this place at least once a week or 4 times a month. I really like there wide selection of rice plates and soup choices! I am pretty much a meat eater so I like the Sliced Pork over rice, 5-spice chicken over rice or the Sliced pork and meatloaf over rice. These dishes are filled with flavor and is a great value. You definitelty are getting a good amount of food for the cheap price! I have had the PHO too and it is really good. I think that PHO is something that everyone likes.
Like I said, If you have had vietnamese food before or are completely new to it, this restaurant will not dissappoint!
I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!
Pros: Good food, good service, great prices and value!
Cons: No parking lot, so you have to park around the area, keep in mind that this is in SF.

Big bowls of pho for not so much. Can't really loose but then again the entire tenderloin is big bowls of pho for cheap. the bowls here are truly huge though. The rice plates here are also superb. the vietnam type drinks are kinda lacking though, especially the three bean drink. I recommend the pho but not the drinks.

as my friend and fellow vietnam 2 lover would say, "just try the barbeque chicken with rice..." well i did, and i fell in love the place ever since. the atmosphere is what you would expect with a place in the tenderloin, but the interior of the restaurant is decorated with a small pond, wide screen tv with nonstop vietnamese karaoke. the food is the best of course. any meal with rice noodles is great. there's no need to go to a xtremely fancy restaurant to experience great food, vietnam 2 is the place to get good food at a great price.
Pros: eat lunch all day, inexpensive, low noise-level
Cons: low # of waiters

Dined at Vietnam II twice in the last week. First stop grabbed the beef pho and spring rolls. The pho was a HUGE steaming bowl of delicate broth and rice noodles laden with slices of flank steak, tripe and other goodies. Add some jalapenos, mint leaves and lime and you've got yourself a meal. The spring rolls were very fresh with a nice balance of pork and veggies. My second visit was prompted by ads for their crab special. $9.95 gets you a 1.5 lb dungeness crab in a spicy garlic sauce. The crab was sweet and fresh, just pulled from the tank and the sauce was like a lobster sauce but spicier. A side of garlic noodles completed the meal, yummy! If you like Vietnamese food, take a stroll down on Larkin. While there are many choices, Vietnam II will not dissapoint you!
Pros: Efficient Service, Great Eats, Low Prices
