It's a tiny place has couple tables and 7-8 seats by the counter. It's like walking into a mama papa shop in France. I loved to sit at the counter watching the chefs turns simple ingredients into a delicious meal. I went there for lunch during a sunny day. We had Protcuitto and brie crepe, it's not as good as i expected. Shrimp quesadillas turns out to be quite flavorful. I heard Chez maman is famous for their burgers, but since i'm no beef lover, no comments in that area. Unlike its sister restaurant Chez Papa, I have mixed feeling about Chez Maman. It didn't make it to my favorite restaurants' list when there's quite a few similar restaurants like chez maman in san francisco. But, it's definitely a nice lunch place to go during a sunny day. They also have couple of outdoor seatings.

This closest-sized French bistro is short on space but not on ambiance. Sample crepes, seafood entrees, and burgers while seated at a long counter overlooking the kitchen, or at one of the tiny bar tables by the window. The French cuisine is simple but rich. A perfect place to sip a glass of wine and share plates with a date.
