My dinner at Isa this weekend was fantastic! Since we were there for a leisurely meal, we didn't mind that we had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time for a table- good restaurants are busy- it's a simple fact. But once seated in the lovely patio, I found the service to be very friendly and efficient. The food is the absolute star of this place though. The raw oysters, corn chowder, seared scallops, and passionfruit mango soup were exceptional. The small-dish concept here eliminates the "I can't decide" quandry because you get to try about 5-6 dishes at a dinner for 2! If you want to have a good time here: go relaxed, be patient, and good things will come! Pros: Food, Food, Food Cons: Busy

i went here for a birthday. we waited an hour past our reservations for a table. you would think that they would invest in a host, bartender or even a food runner to help service along, but none of these positions exist. There were so many wrong plates dropped on our table, finally they just started giving us the food for free that obviously belonged to another hungry table. they brought our desserts, with no candle. we ate, then and asked for the check only to have our server bring out a dessert with a candle. too late. we are stuffed.!!! POOR SERVICE. The food is just ok. nothing worth waiting for.

I've been to lots of the top, high-end restaurants but the best meal I've had this year was at Isa. Maybe it was the surprise of the discovery versus the expectation of excellence. But the food was magnificent. The patio is a joy. Finally, don't come here when you're in a hurry. The staff were shorthanded the night we came but I suspect this is not a speedy kitchen on any night. Pros: Awesome food, Nice environ Cons: Slow

I was taken here by a friend, and wow! You'd never guess from the outside what a great little spot this is. FANTASTIC food, reasonably priced, great service and ambiance, especially the outdoor heated patio. I really enjoyed this place. Pros: fantastic food, reasonable prices, great service
