Absolutely beautiful view of the city. Very very romantic. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. The wooden walls made me feel like I was in the early 19th century. Had the filent mongon which was very very tender. My husband had chichen..also perfected. Wonderful people. would highl recommend especially for a romantic evening. Only downfall is the parking. very hard

Julius' Castle in Telegraph Hill is a historic old house-turned-elegant fine dining restaurant, that retains most of its original decor and architecture. It's a little pricey, special occasion kind of place, but the wine selection is formidable, and the food is top-notch (the Ahi Tuna and Wild Rice Rissoto were both great and the Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brûle and the Pear Charlotte desserts are to die for) Best of all, many of the restaurants sweet little tables are situated in front of bay windows offering stunning views of Telegraph Hill and the surrounding area....and since the dining room is on the top floor, you have a great vantage point.
