New Asia has been in Chinatown since my mom first came over from Hong Kong. She said the quality's gone down since then, but its still a great place. It's probably the largest dim sum place in town so there's plenty of room (which is rare for San Francisco). The dim sum isn't that great but it is among my top choices in terms of SF Chinatown. I really recommend their Ha Gaou (Shrimp dumpling)...they have the best in town. Seating is plentiful, except on weekends, where the place gets packed by 11am.

Real good chinese dim sum but unfortuately parking is difficult. Try bussing it in, it's not worth the hassle. Many varieties of dim sum to choose from and the price is right. You can also order other various plates of noodles, chow fun, rice, etc. Women walk by pushing carts with the food, all you do is point and choose. There's some exotic foods you may want to try if you have the courage. It's busy during the lunch hours on weekends but it's fairly easy to get a seat during the week. If you've never tried dim sum you're in for a treat!
