Practically every time I'm here, I say to whoever in my party will listen, "I love the look of this place!" The decor? Upscale industrial meets cool Asian statuary. The service? Friendly. Once when our takeout order was missing a soup and we had to go back to get it, the waitress gave us two free Thai Iced Teas for our trouble, which I thought was really nice, especially since I love Thai Iced Tea. The food? Really good! I especially like the Pad Thai, the Gai Grapow and the yummy, spicy Tom Ka Goong soup (they'll make it for you if you ask). And, they have copies of US Weekly to read while you wait for your takeout order. PLUS, their takeout bags have the cutest picture of a monkey on them, which makes me love them even more! (It's the little things...)

Ah... the Happy Monkey.
Considering I can see them from my apartment window, and that they're a block from the office, I'm there at least a couple of times a month.
The decor? Industrial chic. Substantial wooden chairs and the bathrooms have "lost pet" note cards from all over the world (you need to see it to really understand).
The lunch specials are a little pricy, but you get a tremendous amount of food for the money. For $10.95, I can get a good portion of Panang Beef, two chicken satay skewers and rice. The barbecued pork and chicken lunch specials are also quite good.
For dinner, the prices are about the same as most upscale Thai restaurants - but the portions are about 50% larger.

Me and my freinds went there for a going away party. My freind is from Amsterdam and it was actually her last day staying in the U.S. So, we decide to treat her to some Thai food. But we didn't expected the place to be so great. Great as in ; Service , food , and the place it self. My freind from Ams. was in love with the waiter. He was so cute and very freindly with us. We just had to take pictures with him. But over all, everything was great. Can't wait to go back.
