but wow what a great evening we had at Aqua. What really makes this place a five rather than a four is the wine list.

the restaurant is beautiful but the food was not as good as i thought it would be. it's pricey and at one time the place to dine but feels it bit passe as of late. i had the fish and was not impressed. the portions are small which is somewhat expected and i don't mind as long as the flavors are great but not that impressed with aqua.

I read numerous user reviews before going to AQUA, many of which were negative. So when we showed up last night I was expecting a snobbish wait staff. But that wasn't the case - our waitress was excellent and the table staff courteous and professional.
The food was excellent as well - all of it! (Which was a bit of a surprise, based on the reviews). Our first course consisted of Garlic Soup and Asparagus Soup, followed by a second course of Ahi Tuna (for her) and Hawaiian Swordfish for myself. Both courses were complimented with drinks and three bread choices.
Then came dessert. Let me sum it up with one expression - :)
Both desserts were excellent and put us in chocolate heaven.
Some reviewers were left with a bad taste in their mouth, but we would both HIGHLY RECOMMEND dining at AQUA to others.
