Whenever I am in the area, I can't help but stop and patronize Lucky Creations. Located in the heart of Chinatown by Ross Alley, this little restaurant serves up tasty dishes made of mushrooms, tofu and gluten. I say tasty and I'm not even vegetarian! So it has to be good. Try the lemon chicken. The price is right: all items in the menu are under $8. The place is small, there are only 4 square tables and 3 round tables total. I had excellent service. The people were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is casual.

I've never had better, this is high quality. The restaurant's small, so you might have to share a table with strangers, but the food's sooo good. Try the lemon chicken (fake), it's my favorite (don't be put off by the radioactive yellow color). They also have good veggie buns. If it's crowded, there's always take-out.

Besides all of their mouth-watering dishes, they serve veggie dim sum on weekends, including peanut sushi, imitation pork buns, steamed dumplings, soy sausage, lotus and red bean cookies (for lack of a better word), and wheat gluten (soy, teriyaki, or sweet n' sour) which sells like hot cakes! You can eat dim sum for <$5. Love this place.
