The locations have changed and increased, but this place is still the best place for sports equipment, shoes, gear, etc. and even sporty casual clothing. The people that work there are extremely friendly and knowledgeable because they are athletes that actually participate in the sports. In the city there's a couple of locations: Presidio at Crissy Field and the Mission location on Bryant, near 16th St. Elsewhere in the Bay Area, there's a store in Sunnyvale and one in Walnut Creek. The prices are already low but use just about any club, gym, organization membership to get even more off.

Located just below the Cliff House, the Sutro Baths are a neat place to visit. There is a path and staircase which leads down to the ruins, it’s a slight incline down, but remember as you walk down that you need to walk back up! The baths themselves are only ruins, but there are many inlets to explore as there are neat caves and eddies where the ocean runs in.

One of my favorite things about summer in SF are the free concerts on the beauteous Yerba Buena Gardens lawn. I just came back from the first concert of this summer series (Gamelan Sekar Jaya) and it was totally a summer-is-finally-here moment. The sun was out, the lawn was scattered with all sorts of interesting folks. They always have great sound for outdoor concerts. And the lineup this summer is amazing - all sorts of multicultural stuff that you might otherwise never see, but if it's free and the weather's nice, why not?

Thinkwalks.org is run by a nice guy named Joel who is an expert tour guide of our fair city. He’s designed several different walking and biking tours that explore ecology, hills, water, neighborhoods and more. This is great for tourists as well as natives who want to become better acquainted with their environs. This is for anyone who despises the standard on-again/off-again crammed into a tour bus tour. You’ll feel the sun, the fog, the breeze while Joel guides you to a more intimate knowledge of San Francisco. Oh, and he does some of the tours on stilts...
Thinkwalks.org has the schedule for upcoming tours, or call Joel and design your own!

I bought my first rod & reel back in 1980-something. I've been returning ever since. The prices are great. I recommend this store to any of my friends who fish or want to start. One can get set-up for a day of fishing & not break the bank. Service is outstanding as well,. The staff is friendly & knowledgable!
Pros: Great Prices, Great advice!

Body of Work is the Pilates studio that gave me great results when no others could. They have flexible knowledgeable trainers that helped me reach MY goals at MY pace, not a cookie-cutter approach at all. They even helped me figure out what some of my goals were! Also, scheduling was a breeze because they have someone do it full time, not a trainer trying to return calls between sessions. The entire experience is no stress even to the free parking. I recommend this place to everyone from beginners to experts!
Pros: They care about you, Certified Trainers, Good Parking
