San Francisco Giants is part of MLB baseball team. They have quality food and decent prices for hotdogs, pop corns, and sushi. The entrance fee for a decent seat is kind of pricy. There are many mini stores to buy jerseys and baseball memoriabilia. Noneoftheless, I enjoy going to watch some good baseball with my favorite team. Go Giants and hope Barry Bonds have a speedy recovery.

When I visited this place, after I got my breath back from the climb, I could feel the history here. There is a real neat story behind this tower. I am not going to spoil it by telling you all about it. I want you to visit Coit Tower for yourself and discover it's uniqueness.
You really do get a fantastic view of the City.
When I took a look, I was amazed at the City's beauty and variety of areas in such a small piece of land.
The bay looks grandeur -- you haven't seen the bay until you have looked at from Coit Tower.
Make sure you go on a clear day.

Lombardi sports has a great variety of sporting goods, shoes, and clothing. I particularly enjoy browsing their sale running and athletic shoes for a good deal – although they sell some higher priced clothing, their shoes are generally a good deal! They are conveniently located in Russian hill on Polk Street and have a great upstairs with more biking/kayaking/camping/working out equipment than you could ever want.

SF Moma is one of the top museums in the country, if not the world, for good reason. They always have interesting and engaging exhibits. What I like most about the museum, however, is that it's very accessible. While there is plenty to see, you can pick and choose what to explore. The cafe is fine, albeit a bit pricey and don't forget to check out the great store.

Both of these science centers use activities and creative exhibits to explain science to kids in a fun way. I think the Exploratorium is the more successful - it tends to have more exhibits geared to teaching young children instead of just being fun for them to play with. It is larger, or at least seems that way, and in my dim childhood recollections has more demonstrations of the exhibits, where the Lawrence Hall of Science tends to rely on written information that kids are often not interested in perusing.

very knowledgeable and approachable staff. No snootiness. If you go during the day, it's quiet and a lot more fun. It gets packed around 6. The routes are not complex, the bouldering is fun but less challenging than planet granite.
A great way to either start climbing oir to maintain your condition when not climbing outside.

This is one of my favorite places in San Francisco. It's got everything I could ask for: San Francisco history, authentic local color, and big loud machines. Best of all: it's free!
You get to see the actual machines that are moving the cables that run for miles beneath the streets of the city, pulling the cable cars.
Definitely bring your guests from out of town to give them an only-in-San-Francisco experience. To get the whole experience, you should really travel there by cable car. The California Street car is usually tourist- and crowd-free. Leave your car someplace far away, take Muni or Bart to the Embarcadero station, then get on the cable car at the foot of California Street (at California and Market). Get off at Mason St., walk three blocks north, and you're there!

I used to come here on field trips as a kid, and I went back recently for the first time and it was just as fun! They have an impressive number of hands-on exhibits that deal with all aspects of science: plants, animals, genetics, physics, chemistry, etc. It's a great place to take your kids as they'll learn a ton and have fun doing so too. I loved the shadow box and the oversized bubble makers when I was a fourth grader, and was happy to still see both things still around.
There is free admission on the first Wednesday of the month.

I love the saturaday classes that they offer to children. The children are able to make their own crafts. They have so much fun and learn to use their imagination. Then they can go lratn about all the different animals. My niece especially liked the rabbits, beacuse you can not see rabbits at the zoo. Overall, it was a great learning experience. Those Saturday classes are really the best.
