Emblematic of the general state of pizza in this city. Homey little place run by a warm, friendly, Greek family. They make huge Greek salads and good subs. But the pizza just isn't good. Why? Go in there and it's hard to believe these old world people could make lousy pizza. Everything about this place seems to say that it would be good. But, this is San Francisco and obviously there's some sort of telluric energy block on the synthesis of dough, sauce and cheese. By the way, they make great dough here. I know because I've bought it from them on a number of occasions, brought the dough home, and made my own pizza with it.
