Zante's is definitely one of my favorite places in SF. Their Indian pizza is beyond amazing. Get the tandoori chicken and lamb on it and you won't be disappointed. Although the atmosphere leaves a little to be desired (kind of drab and dark), they do have $5 pitchers of beer. The best parts about Zante? They deliver ANYwhere in the city (even to SFSU area!) and they are just a short walk from Maggie Mudds!

First of all, the Indian food here stinks. Well, maybe I've just had bad luck EVERYTIME I've tried it. Who knows? If you want Indian food, go to Spicy Bite across the street. So, let's qualify this review by saying that this is NOT a review of Zante's Indian food. I want to separate that from their fantastic Indian Pizza. As far as I know, they are first people to do this. A tandoori style pizza with Indian spices, shrimp, lamb, chiken, veggies… there's a vegetarian version that's just as good. Some of my favorite pizza in San Francisco. I wish it weren't so expensive, but a fun splurge (as pizza goes) now and then...

If you like Italian food, you should definitely try out their Italian pizza. Their pizza are amazing. Just looking at it makes you hungry. Their place is cozy and makes you enjoy the area. I highly recommend their shakes as it is one of the best around. The staff are very friendly and open late night also.
