I needed a head shot and spoke to several other reputable photographers in San Francisco to find the right person for the job. Nano's warm personality combined with her meticulous eye was the perfect match for me. She made me feel very comfortable, and listened to my needs before ever snapping a shot. I live in Dixon a little town and I was trying to find a studio where I can get pictures for my graduation. Then i found Dore Studio, I think is the best Photo Studio in the Bay Area. People who work there are very nice and friendly specially the photographer. I been telling people to go there and all of them that been there were satisfied and happy.

a dinner party...wish i could show you the photos...they radiate...they are so good, i changed my background on my laptop immediately to one of them ;-)))).
and he sent them the next morning!
and an evening social relating event
his energy was so smooth, i could see him, but could only feel him ease by me, enabling me to focus on the night. i felt i had experienced the evening much more fully after looking at his pictures. i felt i was involved in other people's conversations, feeling what they felt, getting to know them better because i saw their split second emotions. i WANTED to get to know people better because of what he showed me through his lens. amazing.
he sent the photos the next day, in a beautiful, timed slideshow with perfect music choices.

So I needed to sign some papers in front of a notary. I looked on line and chose the closest place to where I lived, which happened to be the FedEx on 2nd and Harrison. I walked in and the manager told me "oh, we do not have a notary here" How the hell can you advertise a service you can't provide??? Anyways, the guy gave me directions to a place "a couple blocks away" I spent a good 30min trying to find this place and finally gave up. Went home and this time I looked at the reviews online to find the place with the best service. Everyone was raving about the ups store on Howard. So I walk over there. They let me bring my dogs in while I was doing my business, and on top of that the owner of the place (a very laid-back friendly guy named Ivan) gives me a beer!!! Not a crappy Bud or Miller either, an Import. I will be going back here for all of my shipping needs. Did I happen to mention they also make keys and have P.O. boxes there? I highly recommend this place.
Pros: Great,friendly, and knowledgable service.
Cons: No cons to mention.

We first meet Jeni when we were searching for a wedding photographer,
and since then, I've use her for my business head shot photo.
Technical chops aside, she always manage to find that pitch perfect style & presentation that's both classic and innovative at the same time--highly recommended!

I panicked because this is a new responsibility for me within the company.
These folks came through and save me.
Pros: excellent customer service. not a lot of waiting

Hanson was my wedding photographer in 2003 and I would highly recommend her! She has years of experience and a wonderful, relaxed personality. Her albums are breathtaking - by far the most beautiful I've seen. She is not cheap but comparable to other Bay Area wedding photographers. And worth the price! I have also seen baby and child photographs she has taken - gorgeous! You can't go wrong with Hanson!
