My body feels cumulatively better since being treated at Healthwell....I am definitely more balanced and aware of myself....it's so interesting how they made me feel different because it wasn't by doing 1000 reps of a boring exercise. Somehow, I feel my "bones" and "midline" differently and my awareness of my movement is improved. I also liked that when I said my shoulder hurt, that they didn't just rub on my shoulder and give me rubber band exercises, but integrated their treatment into my whole self use pattern. It made sense and still use what I learned there.

This place makes physical therapy FUN and not a chore - it's in a gym setting, with lots of pro athletes, current and former, around (49ers in particular), so you feel part of a community, and not in a depressing room one-on-one with your PT. These folks rehabbed Jerry Rice, Jennifer Azzi, and lots of other people who trusted their precious limbs to them!

Global Yoga is ideal for a beginner or the super yoga master. I'm in no way a master and I'm flabby like the rest of America. This place is great, no yoga egos, free cookies & tea and right next to the train. In the heart of the Gay Community of the city of SF, but its not a "gay yoga center" at all. For all you guys (like me) who are intimidated by yoga women (who hate men), this is the ideal place.
