This people PC on sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not worth a damn. The accelerator line is a crock of crap. I am an engineer and its just not possiblre go on and pay 4 more dollars and get DSL for 14.95$ a month with at yahoo or with swb yahoo dsl for $14.95 a month also Verizon has the same offer and its 20 times better than 11$ a month at people pc and dont forget the charter net dsl and i know other ones you can get got for the same price. So if you want to stick with dial uP i HAVE TOLD U FROM EXPERIENCE AND i AM A CERTIFIED COMPUTER REPAIRMAN AND UPGRADER. I HAVE MY OWN BUSINESS AND WILL TELL U I KNOW THIS PC BIZ INSIDE OUT. GET YOUR MONEY AND STAY WHERE YOU ARE.YOU CANNOT BEAT DSL FOR A YEAR AT $15. CHRIS RYAN

My choice for an ISP was not due to a lack of options. We have a lot of choices to choose from no matter if you want dial-up, DSL, or cable. I chose PeoplePC for the sole reason of price. For my needs, I don't 'need' high speed. I would love to have high speed, but I'm content, for now, to pay less than $10/month to stay online at home. http://www.peoplepc.com/

PeoplePC offers low tier dial up service. The problem that I have with them is there software. It's a bit cumbersome and slow, while the dial up speeds don't make using the software any better. They are not the cheapest decent dial up out there, but if your traveling around, PeoplePC maybe a good alternative. It is better then America Online as you won't be locked into a main window where there are all this clutter.
