Haven't been to the actual museum yet, but I have spent ample time in the adjacent gift shop/book store where they have an eclectic selection of all the latest in cutting edge comics and graphic novels. Well, I'm not an aficionado, so I don't know how comprehensive the collection is. But what's there is all interesting and makes for a cool place to go and buy a unique gift, especially for people who don't consider themselves comics junkies, who'll be duly impressed by the artfulness of recent graphic publications.

This museum is pretty small, but the comics aren't that big either, so it's actually filled with cartoons and comics. There is a lot of variation of cartoon/comics and I believe it is the only museum that has cartoons in all its forms. There's the classic stuff like Astroboy and Batman and Garfield and Disney to more modern stuff by local artists or up-and-coming artists in the field. I thought it was great. You can spend a lot of time in there reading every comic and enjoying art at its best.
It's also cheap. For students, it was $4 and I think adults are $6.

I recently visited the Cartoon Art Museum because they're having a Garfield art exhibit, and I'm a huge Garfield fan. I got to see a visual chronology of how Garfield was created and how the characters have evolved over the years, and some Garfield memorabilia. Their exhibits change all the time, so if you go once in a while you get to see something different. If you're a comic book or comic strip fan, check this place out.

This Museum is not just for children, but more so than adults. I have heard alot abot this musuem, but everything that I heard still did not do it justice. I was competely amazed. I did not want to leave until I went through the entire museum. l loved watching old commercials. And they had perfect seatings which really made you feel like a kid. Its very cheap and well worth spending a day there. It is a fascinating place
