While there is nothing special about Chevy's, it's a good standard Tex Mex meal when you really need one. I spent the day hanging out with my dad and we swung by SF Moma. Afterwards we were both jonesing for Tex Mex so we wandered down to Chevy's. I had the Huevos Rancheros and the table-side guacamole. My dad had the tortilla soup and salad. The food was fine - filling and fresh - but nothing special. I thought i was completely stupid that the waiters were wasting their time making the guac tableside. It was fine, but wasn't worth their two minutes of production time.
