Just bought a necklace and bracelet on 12/15/2007. Sales Lady claimed the items were made of genuine stones and were definitely not painted plastic beads. Paid accordingly for merchandise, only to realize when we got home that one of the "stones" had chipped and indeed it was a clear plastic bead that was painted. Tried calling the store number on the receipt and it is conveniently "out of service". Have already filed a complaint againt the store with the Credit Card Company. Buyers beware, I know they sell fake/imitation jewelry items too, unfortunately I trusted the sales lady/manager when she said that the product I was buying was a genuine stone. Taught me not to take anyone for just their word.
Pros: Nothing good worth mentioning, other than beware
Cons: Everything

E & M Jewelry, located at the tourist nexus of the universe, namely between Union Square and Nob Hill, is not worth your time. If you are looking for really good stuff, just wander a few blocks down to the fine shopping district east of Union Square. The stuff here will be equally as expensive and not near the quality.
