Although the ambiance isn't as flashy as other sushi restaurants in the city, the sushi itself is the best! Very creative rolls and always, always fresh.

I recently came to this yummy resturant with a friend. It was amazing! We ordered the green bean tempura fries that were too die for!!! You must try the spicy edamane - I have never had it like this -very tasty. The fusion & soft shell crab rolls are a must try. If you like prawns - get the tiger prawns - they melt in your mouth!!! The drinks we ordered were super yummy - the cucumber limeade & the pink bubbles. It was so good that we decided to bring our friends & make it a girls night out place to eat and drink and be merry! I almost forgot - the dessert is amazing - the trio sorbets are very tasty especially the apple flavor....thinking about it makes me want to run over right now! this place is better than the other sushi places in the marina
Pros: food, friendly service, atmosphere
Cons: not open 24/7

Cheaper, faster sushi joint. Definitely not the best in the city but definitely not among the worst. Note that I am probably biased by the fact that my favorite sushi place in the city is right around the corner . . .
Pros: cheapish, conveniently close to UCSF
Cons: average quality food

Best Sushi, great atmosphere, helpful staff in Restaurant and club, and the best server named Robin. We went there Wednesday night to have dinner and watch the show "Rupa & The April Fishes". The original dinner reservation was for two. Got changed to eight and again changed to six when everybody showed up!. They were very accomodating and helpful in finding seats at the club that we could sit next to each other. The food was fantastic. The service was excelent, and our server was the best. The show was great. We were all very happy.

Sushi even I can afford. Plenty of food for 2 usually costs me about $20. Beat that. I think the food here is better than most places who charge more. This place has old time San Francisco charm. Don't forget to call it "No Name."

Was in town visiting from Los Angeles. After walking around Chinatown we happened to stumble upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try for dinner. We were both pleasantly surprised with the quality, freshness, and friendly service at this place. DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone who's in the area. My husband who is an avid sushi eater loved this place. He does not normally eat rolls but gave the Millenium roll a try and just loved it. He ended up ordering 3 of the Millenium rolls, 1 Broadway, and a Columbus roll. He did not leave me a piece. We both enjoyed our visit there and will be back for many more visits. Oh by the way try the Godzilla roll...that was my favorite pick. Thanks SAN FRAN love your city...
Pros: Millenium roll, Godzilla roll, FRESH, FRIENDLY, PRICE
Cons: none

I was really plesaantly surprised by this sushi restaurant. They have a sushi bar with the rotating sushi passing by you and also have sit down tables. You can either pick up pieces that go by you or order from the menu (which isn't just sushi, they also have udon and other items). I had a nice plate of sashi - very generous portion and tasted great, and a spider roll (also very good) and the dinner came to $30 including tip and soft drink.
Pros: great deal, good sushi, excellent menu choice
Cons: no high end sushi

Yo Yo's is wonderful. I'm almost always out the door for less than $5 - and often less than $3! The soups are great and the service is fast. They've been there since 1988 and I don't think they've eve raised the prices. I suggest the soba noodle soup with extra tofu.
Pros: Price, Food, Services
Cons: Takeout only

I moved back to S.F. from L.A. about six months ago. Anyone who knows L.A. knows the sushi is amazing. I have to say that I think Yo Yo is far better than anywhere I went in L.A. Eddie, the sushi chef, knows how to buy and prep his raw fish better than anyone I have ever met. His rolls are to die for and the place is so relaxing because it is not too crowded and the family atmosphere. These two character filled sisters own and run the restaurant. It is a great experience all around.
Pros: Family Atmosphere, Fresh Fish
Cons: parking
