From the outside, Maggie Mudd looks like your regular run of the mill ice cream shop, but looks can be deceiving! Inside, an array of flavors awaits that is anything but ordinary. For vegans, there is a wide variety of soy, almond and coconut milk creams in unusual and intense flavors (the lemon poppyseed is especially good!) They also offer a good selection of regular ice cream and a fun assortment of sundaes and milk shakes. Maggie Mudd is a great choice for a cold treat.

This is fab ice cream and it just happens that the stuff is vegan. Impossible you say? They'll invent cold fusion before non-dairy ice cream doesn't totally suck? With the wonders of coconut milk (which is supper fatty) and soy, one of the great hurtles of modern society has been cleared. Funky flavors like black sesame, habanero lime and chocolate cardamom will make you a believer.

I was dreading going to this place for a long time because I thought they just had vegan ice cream, which I dont' like. However, when I finally got talked into it I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they had some fantastic regular ice cream as well. I believe everything is made on site and it is all good. The Sundays are particularly good. They make them in layers with all kinds of good stuff. One note of caution: Try Before You Buy. There are a variety of interesting flavors, but some don't agree with my taste buds, they will be happy to let you try whatever you would like. Pros: Great Ice Cream, Good Prices, Fun Atmosphere Cons: Can Get Very Crowded, Limited Seating
