Its produce, meat and vegetables are all at great prices. I don't live in the sunset but I frequently go there to buy groceries because its easier to find parking than the other branch on irving. It has free parking too so even if you cant part in the lot, you could find parking around the residential area. It is less crowded there but the place is stilll pretty small.

This market carries a good selection of produce, meat, seafood and many staples needed in Asian cooking. The store aisles are narrow and gets crowded on weekends, as does the parking outside. Just a FYI: I bought a 50 lb bag of rice from them that contained moldy rice, probably due to water that may have seeped through. I took it back to the store and they made me feel like I had planted the mold just to get a new one. I argued that I brought back a full bag, why would I go through the trouble. They did not believe me but allowed me an exchange for another bag. I still shop there but I am more cautious of what I buy from them.

This supermarket is located in the Sunset District and specializes in chinese goods. They have semi fresh vegetables and fruits. There's also a meat market inside. Aisles are narrow so it's nearly impossible to manuveur your shopping cart without banging into something. Forget about going there on weekends unless you go early. Store usually is crowded by 11a.

Sunset Supermarket sells all kinds of Asian foods, seafood, meat, produce--anything that a typical Asian store would sell. They have a wide variety of brands to choose from, and their stuff seems fresh. Their produce is much cheaper than buying from Safeway or Albertson's. The only problem is that it's extremely hard to find parking nearby. People often double park in front of the store. Lines can also get long on weekends, so plan accordingly.

Sunset Super is a great Asian grocery store, and the Vicente St. location is especially good because there aren't any other large Asian stores close by. They have cheap produce, and fresh seafood. I like their large variety of snack foods. Parking is pretty horrible and you might have to park a few blocks away.

They sell mostly pretty much everything you would need to cook here. There are mostly Asian foods and good. They have fresh fish, meats, veggies, and fruits.
