May Wah located in the heart of Clement Chinatown offers a great variety of Asian related products. It's one of the bigger stores that sell Asian related products, and probably the largest on Clement. May Wah has basically everything that one can find and need in terms of Asian goods. However, you may need to wait in line a bit during checkout, and parking is nearly non existent.

Richmond New May Wah is perhaps the largest Chinese supermarket in SF, not in Chinatown. Located on Clement Street, parking is an absolute nightmare on weekends. But don't let that stop you from coming for their wide selection of all Chinese and Asian delicacies. A few bonuses here - unlike most Chinese supermarkets, they actually take credit cards. Also, for those of you who may have a credit card that refunds you 3% to 5% for all gas purchases (vs only 1% for normal purchases), for some reason, Richmond New May Way counts as a gas station when calculating your monthly rebate. Great selections, reasonable prices.

For those who are not able to come into San Francisco's Chinatown to shop for their Asian grocery, Richmond New May Wah Supermarket will more than do. Really good prices compared to most other Chinese supermarkets (unless you compare it with Chinatown supermarkets), wide selection, and fresh vegetables and fruits make this supermarket a good choice. And it has a good edge over most other Chinese supermarkets, including the ones in Chinatown; Richmond New May Wah Supermarket has superior service that parallels that of Safeway, unlike most Chinese supermarkets in San Francisco.

This is a chinese supermarket where you can find fresh fish, meat and poultry. Other packaged items are also sold here. It is easy to find imported asian foods that come in cans. Chinese "choy" can also be found here to make in soups, and vegetables. Asian candies and drinks are also available. THe store itself is very organized into their different sections. Cheap prices, easy to buy.

Richmond New May Wah is a good convinenet shopping market for all your Asian food needs. May Wah is the penultimate one stop for stocking the pan asian pantry that I would recommend. However, it's not as big as a Ranch 99 and doesn't have as much as selection. Also, his is a great place to come to pick up everything you need from fresh fruits and veggies to meat and seafood. One thing I need to suggest to you is that the store will get crowded on Sat/Sun afternoons and parking is hard to find since it is on clement, which is a crowed street, like a little chinatown.

Richmond New May Wah is a great one-stop shopping place for all your Asian food needs. It's not as big as a Ranch 99 and doesn't have as great a selection, but if you don't feel like driving out of the city or getting pushed around by tourists in Chinatown, this is a great place to come to pick up everything you need from fresh fruits and veggies to meat and seafood. Can get crowded on Sat/Sun afternoons and parking isn't exactly the easiest to find.
