The wedding was approaching and I was completely frazzled. I didnt know where to begin in planning. I stopped into the Union Street Papery I felt relaxed as I quickly learned I was in good hands. They have a lot of very beautiful options, it was hard to narrow it down..I wanted everything! This upscale boutique is A+ from begining to finish. They listened to my needs and helped to design unique invites that were the best of quality and attractiveness. I got a lot of complements on them, and they were shipped on time. The staff was friendly, professional, knowledgable and creative. The buyer has a lot of talent, she has really fun items in there too.The atmosphere is fun and inspiring. Definately the place to go for all of your special event, birthday, wedding, birthday etc invite needs.
Pros: excellent quality, uniqueness and superb customer service
Cons: parking, but there is a parking garage just up the street

Diane's is a wonderful place to shop for unique, classy and well crafted jewelry that has the time honored panache of eras past. The ladies that work there are very knowledgeable about each piece, and are open to layaways, which I had thought were a thing of the past!
Pros: great selection, unique pieces
Cons: why, parking, of course

Old-fashioned customer service at this location as well as free parking. The staff works very hard and they have helped me out several times now with last-minute large print jobs. They are accommodating and professional....the previous review is hard to believe. Very impressive also is that everyone on their staff is a notary public. I used to do all my UPS shipping at the hub in Portrero Hill, but now I take it here because the store is much faster in processing shipments and providing help with packaging. It's next to the CalTrain depot, Safeway, Walgreen's, Mission Bay and the ballpark....very convenient getting in and out.
Pros: Customer Service, free parking, quality color printing and binding, UPS shipping
Cons: Traffic during baseball games

More
For the past few years the show was going down hill, less and less product selection, less and less attendees and south hall started to look like a 99 cent flea market. The past two shows GLM started to pick up on this and made active changes, one great thing they did was add buyer lounges, they set up resting areas where buyers can collect thoughts and review exhibitor brochures. The best part about the whole show, North hall as a ton of very unique products, the type that you find in specialty boutiques and high end contemporary stores. They have the unique, contemporary and hand made in North Hall. Although south hall is still a garage sale 99 cent mecca, North Hall makes up for it.
