I like to go to Write With Style whenever I am in the neighborhood because they always have the right kinds of papers, pens, markers, and glitter pens that are essential to make a project for school look it's best. They have a great selection of stationary, graphic designed paper, and a wide variety of fancy markers that make different shapes and pictures. The prices are pretty reasonble, and the customer service is also pretty good. Great find!

Worldware is the showroom you look to if you are seeking premium quality, elegance and style for home designs. Not only are the design choices well presented @ Worldware, but you have one of the largest selections of retail interior designs in San Francisco, and unlike similar showrooms that are open only to a select clientele accompanied by a designer, Worldware opens its doors to the general public and welcomes everyone. In addition to that, Worldware is staffed with professional designers to freely assist you with your design selections.
At Worldware, there is never a pressure to make purchases. The general public is free to wander around the showroom and enjoy the ambiance and make selections without being crowded by a designer. The designers are courteous, friendly and ready to help you
whether you are making small single-item purchases or large ticket item purchases.
One of my favourite times to shop at Worldware is during the Christmas season. I feel like a kid in an exclusive candy shop choosing stuff from off the large Christmas tree. Have you ever looked @ the Sid Dickens memory blocks? I started collecting them from
Worldware about four years ago, and was I surprised to find out that most of the blocks increase in value after the designer retires them. I have even started giving them to friends and family members as gifts. There are many little gift items one can find at Worldware. It is also a good place to go is you are looking for a hostess gift or a beautiful candle.
The designers are at Worldware to help you regardless of who you are. Don't be intimidated by the beautiful atmosphere. One does not have to be an older person to appreciate the furnishings which can easily fit into any design setting.
Worldware is my destination when I'm looking for furniture for my home, and my office. I love shopping at Worldware. When you walk into Worldware, look at all the possibilities and be open to the experience.

Such a unique store. Very unusual Asian gifts, statues, jewelry, art, you name it. The store feels a bit cluttered but the patio in the back is a nice sunny spot, and the friendly owner invited my friend and me to bring drinks or a snack and sit out and enjoy it!
Much of the things here aren't terribly practical, but could be a great place for rare/unusual gifts.

I love this store. They have tons of neat stuff for children. I buy stuff here for children and teenages. This store is pretty big and spacey. Although it's a bit pricey, this store carries accessories that are not sold anywhere else. They have many different styles of cute things, such as Emily the Strange, Paul Frank and Happy Bunny stuff. The store is very unique and it's hard to find a collection of stuff they have. However, they sell at retail price. Go see the stuff anyways!

I had no clue about tea and was a die hard coffee snob until I walked into White Crane Tea Company in Japantown. David the owner, broke open a new package of $50 tea just so I could try. There's no chance in hell Starbucks, Peets, or Blue Bottle Coffee would ever do that for me. Never in a million years. After he patiently discussed the differences between the premium tea he carries, I started asking him about the huge amount of high quality Japanese artwork he carried. Turns out he's a professional artist and did it all by himself. I've been going back once a month for the last year to top up on my personal stock of tea ever since.
Pros: finest tea available on the market, very helpful owner, high quality scrolls and calligraphy
Cons: the tea is pricey, but what do you expect when it's the best green tea in the world?
