I have had great experiences here with the staff--accommodating, polite, and not pushy. Brian was especially nice. Plus, there is always a deal to be had in the outlet area next door.

Pros: Staff and staff. Inexpensive--especially at outlet.

WOW...what another scam....fine furniture made in Narth America from owners who care about the community. Great! lets recap...quote is from Josh and Caroline Quick in their less than 2 year old post here!
"EQ3 is an internationally acclaimed business, but it is locally owned and operated"
'We also care VERY VERY much about our customers and our community. If you go into one of our stores, you'll find all local orignal art from emerging Bay Area artists. "
OK , so these caring people, so into giving back to their community, sold their locally owned bussiness back to corporate America, or I guess Canada. Oh, and I'm guessing thats the internationally acclaimed part. Local artists pieces have been stipped off walls for silk screen prints...oh..so much for caring about community and those in it. Lets support...oh...us!
Again, some fast cash, and oh there goes another community!
Also...I have some "great" furniture from there,..sofa...bedroom set...all from "North America" I was told...however they forgot to take the "Made in India" stickers off the bedroom set (Im sure they're paid well)..and if you're confidant in Mexico as your North American manufacturer...great! (check the label)
Lets all give a high five to Josh and Caroline Quick for their intervention and contribution to the bay area!!!! Yeh!!! Maybe they can open a Walmart in Union Square?! Or, even better...some sweat shops in the tenderloin would probably turn a profit and benefit their community.
GO EQ3!!
Look at IKEA...pretty much same manufacturers and warranties...but third the price...or West Elm...half the price...same items..better customer service

Yes, it's kind of like the IKEA of Canada, but the quality is so much better. And to be honest, no one's going to come over and point at your furniture saying that they got theirs from IKEA too...back in college. I purchased a couple of dressers and the staff was very helpful. Was quoted two weeks for delivery, got a call in about a week and a half. Not bad considering the other reviews on here. The delivery people were incredibly flexible. I mean, how many times are you sitting there in a 12-hour window waiting for a delivery these days? These guys were very flexible and showed up within 10 minutes of when they said the earliest time would be on a Saturday. Not too shabby. The only thing left to assemble was the handles, so it's not like you have to sit all day piecing it together.
Not all of their stuff matches my tastes, but I do wish they had a larger selection. A larger selection or variety at least would give them a higher rating in my view.

Ok Keeping it simple...I work for a designer so I know my stuff. This store has alot of reproductions but who cares. Great price points, nice layout, store was set up nicely and had homey touches like books and flowers and yes even employees with smiles. I wasnt even looking to buy anything since I just bought a Sofa from Ligne Roset but they recommened I check out EQ3 for some cool knicky nacks. I was greeted literaly when I set foot in the door by a young guy, took a spin around the floor and he asked me what was I going to leave the store with today? Funny opening line but it worked i felt welcomed. I looked at the bedding but nothing really jumped out at me, so I was walking out when I saw this small ottoman which was so simliar to another that I saw at blank (nameless store). I bought 4 so that I could use them as a coffee table and also spread them out for additional seating, and I spent literally half of what the would have been at the other store(remaining nameless) They came in 9 weeks when I was quoted 8 but the sales rep Josh did call me at about 6 weeks to let me know they would be late. That was nice a good touch of customer service. Overall Great service good product and AWESOME price points.
Pros: Good music to shop to and GREAT price points, cant say it enough
Cons: Having to wait 8 weeks but hey its CUSTOM orders, I have to wait 4 months for my sofa from a different store.

I love the TV stand I bought here and can't wait till I complete the set with bookshelves/ cabinets. I didn't know where I was headed when I responded to an advertisment; however, when I arrived I was immediately helped and she[salesperson] was amazingly patient with me and suggestive and tentative. I was in a rush so I left my item there and when I phoned to pick it up 2 days later they had it quickly ready for me. This furniture is similar to a nordic superstore, but smaller, has it's own hearty style, great prices and no meatballs. All made in my home town of Winnipeg, Canada-eh. I love it!
Pros: service, not overwhelming in size, location

They really need to sort out their poor logistics system because at this point, even if they tell you what the estimated delivery dates are, they are FAR from close. Don't order from them if you have a deadline. They can be a month or a few months late. And their customer service is also poor. They are not apologetic about the delays and NOT helpful in trying to make things better for you.
Pros: Style
Cons: Major Delays, Poor Service

EQ3 was the best shopping experience that I have had in a long time. My first impression - very open, bright space, great music and friendly sales people. The person that helped me knew a LOT about the product, and actually helped me resolve a major design dilemma I was having in an awkward shaped room.
I ordered some cabinets and a sleeper sofa. The sales associate informed me that the cabinets were in stock and they had some availability in the delivery schedule - I was able to get them delivered the SAME DAY!!! I had to order my sleeper, but it came in sooner than the time that they quoted me.
Overall, I had a great experience here. Not only was the shopping actually fun, but the product was really well made for the price.
Pros: Informative Staff, Parking, Great Product
