I used to work near the area, so this was my lunchtime place to hang-out in. Very fast service specially for lunch, when they know you have to gulp food down, but still want it to taste good at least. A little pricey, but you're in Nordstrom. Can't be cheap, you know?

I was shopping at the Nordstrom's San Francisco location for some gifts for Christmas when I stumbled upon a great cafe on the fourth floor that over looks 5th and Market, Powell street cable cars and people walking everywhere. The service was amazing, a friendly smile and a quick greeting. I was hungry and told the waitress I was in a hurry, she told me the kitchen was very fast and that I had come to the right place. She was right.....lunch in about 10 minutes it was hot and the fries were awesome. I have been back 4-5 times since then. I strongly recommend this jewel next time you want to be treated like a king and have a great meal to boot
