I toured this place when I was looking for local gym and was immediately star-struck. First of all the full-service bar serving post-work out beers almost made me sign up on the spot. Maybe my fitness goals are a bit out of whack, but come on, that's pretty great. The bar area also features a little cafe counter serving all manner of healthy lunch and snack options.
The actual facilities are beautiful -- with a wide variety of free weights and circuit machines, plus a whole slew of cardio machines each featuring it's own TV so you won't miss a moment of your soaps/the news/Oprah/the game, while you work up a sweat.
The locker rooms are posh with towel service and premium toiletries and the facility also featues a full hair service salon and a spa offering massages, facials, nails and more.
The big downside -- price. Even the bar couldn't ease the sticker shock - memberships start at $160 a month and go up from there if you want additional perks like parking and a dedicated locker. Still, if you have the cash, it's a pretty sweet deal.

I've seen and used a lot of the other gyms in this city, and this is by far the best. The best in terms of the knowledgable staff, amount of equipment, various pieces of equipment, cleanliness, I can go on and on.
The above is still true. In terms of facilities, no one comes close.
However, the parking now sucks and is the most screwed up I've ever seen. This changed last week. Its now selfpark. There are NOT enough spaces. I am actually thinking of switching gyms because of this. Who wants to drive around for 45 min looking for a spot? Parking is truely awful.
