I will admit that the service took a long time at Zadin. It is a new restaurant and was understaffed the night I came in, but the food was fantastic. I grew up in Orange County where there is an abundance of Vietnamese food in Garden Grove and my mother's kitchen, but Zadin managed to stand out. The spring rolls were amazing. The won ton wrapper added into it made them easily the best spring rolls I have ever had. The cilantro lime dipping sauce for the calimari was a favorite among my friends. The lemon grass pork was absolutely fantastic. My boyfriend is strangely enough not a big fan of food and absolutely despises San Francisco but after eating at Zadin, despite the wait, he keeps asking when we can go back. The other thing that was really appreciated by my friends is that the Vegetarian options are truly vegetarian - no fish sauce! If you want a quick meal, this is probably not the place to go, but if you have the time, good company, and want some really good Vietnamese food, this is well worth it. We were only in SF for one day, but Zadin was truly the highlight of our adventure.

I love the Ramp....I've been coming here for years. Great staff...great food....and great atmosphere!! You get the service you deserve...just a note to the one star people who probably shouldn't be in public at any bar....much less reviewing....

Good place to hang out with friends and your sweethearts!
What I like about supperclub is its atmosphere. If I go there, I feel very comfortable, fully relax and behave myself as I'm at mine friend's party. The music is great (mostly house music) and it it's not too loud as in some other clubs, when you almost have a headache from it.
I was at the supperclub's dinners several times and every time there was a performance, delicious food that made an indelible impression on me! I still can't forget the taste of roasted peking duck breast with cherries.))

I was looking for a soft, casual and comfortable setting to enjoy top notch comfort food and left absolutely satisfied. In particular, the tomato bisque plated with fancy grilled cheese sandwich slices took me back to my childhood like that critique in Ratatouille - simply amazing. Also, the untraditional mac and cheese with fresh pasta melted in my mouth and was supported by just the right amount of cheese. Would not recommend the cheese and ham tater-tots - they sound much better than they are. Finally, while limited in scope, the wine list is spot on for this kind of food and very reasonably priced at ~50% markup over retail versus the 100% we see at most places in the city.

I wanted to have a dinner party for my husband's birthday for about 12 of our friends & family. From my first communications with the staff @ Poleng, it was a positive and professional experience. Chris & Ryan followed up in a timely manner with every detail of our reservation, of which, there were quite a few...date changes, party size changes, bringing in our own birthday cake, etc.
The food was GREAT! I'm not sure where the PF Chang comparison comes from...I have eaten at that chain and it's really boring, really salty, really not fresh. Poleng was none of those things. The spicy crispy friend smelts were so yummy I had to remind myself there were other people around me. We had PLENTY of food, and I really like the fact that they brought out each course in 5 separate bowls and dispersed them throughout the table. Often times, I find family style means 2 biggish platters of food at each of the table. That makes serving cumbersome and often the food itself suffers. Crispy fried things get soft and the like. Not so here. Portions were ample - we went with the Buddha Bliss menu - and by the end, my sister commented to me that she felt she needed a wheelbarrow for her belly.
"The food was so good I took bigger portions than I should have and it just kept coming...every 5 minutes or so...there was a new course, just as good as the last but different".
So, we'll be back. The staff was so accommodating...they turned down the music when we asked, they split the bill 6 ways to Sunday for us, they made everything so fun and relaxed. Great value at any price and the price was really reasonable."
Pros: Service, food i.e. dilicious, ease of parking
Cons: pretty young crowd but that's my hang up?

This restaurant really does exude class and elegance which you unfortunately can't tell from the outside. Inside, Crossing The Bar has an upscale decor. We had a really enjoyable time last Saturday. The waiter was very friendly but not annoyingly friendly. We got a really nice table. The food came out relatively quickly and tasted great. I am coming back again.
Pros: classy and elegant with a lot of parking

Last Saturday I had a great time at Cossu. The food was excellent and the dancer Sumaia was the best I have ever seen. She gave our table special attention and gave my girlfriend lessons. will go back again soon.
