This is a really cool place. You can pic out the design of pottery you want and start painting whatever color you want it to be. It's fun for all ages. It's also a great place to throw a birthday party because it is so much fun. I highly recommend this place for such events.

i am pretty sure that the SF ballet is one of the top 5 ballet schools in the country. they train their ballet students to be top notch dancers. i am very impressed with the quality of the instruction they give at this school. PERFECT RECOMMENDATION FROM ME!

This music shop, which has been a Bay Area staple for years, is a great shop for independent artists and obscure records. The Union Square location boasts posters of Bay Area music stars like Mac Dre and Green Day. When you first walk in, be prepared to be hounded by the security guard to leave your baggage at the front. Loud music may be playing, anything from rap to wild punk rock. Posters align the walls going upstairs of the Bauhaus, Joy Division, and other modern rock heroes. Used CDs and DVDs sell for very cheap here, you can stock up on anything if you take the time to look. The Union Square location boasts a lot of tourists, so be prepared for lines and crowds. This is a also a great place to sell your album if you are a local artist trying to make it big!

Open Mind music on Divisadero may not have the selection that Amoeba does, but they have a wonderful hand picked selection and an incredibly knowledgeable staff. Plus there is always an open listening station and you can listen to almost every record before you buy it. As far as I am concerned they have all the bests of every genre from down-tempo electronic to classic rock. I can spend hours in there talking with the employees and listening to records, and I never am able to walk out empty handed.

I went to the National Japanese American Historical Society with my sister because she had to write a report for Japanese class. I found it kind of boring there because there were not too many exhibits. I did not see many people around, so I could not really find anyone to answer our questions. However, this place was helpful to my sister in writing her report.

Candlestick Park has changed its name to 3Com Park a few years back and has recently changed again to Monster Park because of different ownership. The 49ers football team plays at Monster Park and thousands and thousands of fans come out to see them play. The arena is a very beautiful place even if it's changed ownership and is older than PacBell Park, the baseball stadium. The Giants actually played in Monster Park before receiving a park of their own so there has been a lot of sport history at the park.

What a terrific way to visit and tour San Francisco. We had not thought of a cable car tour and friends talked us into it. This company does a great job of selling their tour and it lives up to their hype. I hope they never take the cable cars out of San Francisco.
