There are two fatties, but 99% of the girls will make you hornier than a 3 peckered billy goat. Friday and Saturday (More so Saturday) are super busy. The girls (spectators) were drawn on stage and got way crazy, bring your duct tape because your head will explode. The Riptide arcade is a fun place to go if you're tired of all the usual tourist shops. There is a pretty good selection of games there, and you're bound to find something you like. It's fun to watch the DDR experts, and I love the skee ball and air hockey.

i saw Travis play here and it was great! They even played one acoustic song, to hear what the theater originally sounded like before ampps...wow, so cool...really it was the best concert I have ever seen! Travis is a scottish brit pop band, with great lyrics! 2 anti-war/peace songs on the last cd! Really gotta appreciate that! The warfield is on market street, and is a great place! Check it out!

Having lived in the Bay Area for the past decade, I've had my share of bad movie theatre experiences. Bad seats, outrageous prices, big crowds. But none of these complaints apply to the Red Vic on Haight Street. Right in the middle of Haight's eclectic array of shops and restaurants sits the Red Vic movie house. Check out their site for their latest calendar...movies range from asian indie flicks to "Wayne's World". Their seats may not be luxurious and their "food court" may not sell sushi and vegi-kabobs, but it's truly a unique experience and one you should enjoy!

Bird & Beckett is an independent, neighborhood book and record shop. I'm assuming this business is struggling to survive, or they wouldn't be asking for donations (sign on their front window). The much-loved video store on the same block just went under and hopefully this place isn't headed to the same fate. When you see a community-centric shop like this, there's no question how lousy the big chain books stores are. All the reason more to peruse through their selection of records (killer jazz section) and new and used books. Every time I walk past, I can't help let the eclectic magazine rack they have on the sidewalk pull me in. Once I'm perusing the shelves there's always something must-have. A hard to find book, some crazy record for only a few bucks. And they host a regular series of music. Good stuff.

This is one of my favorite theaters in the city. It may be a bit smaller than some of the other theaters. It only has three screens. But I like the type of movies that they offer here. The movies are mire artsy and not always big name mainstream, which is great. most of the movies here are not cookie cutter movies, but they have real plots and stories. Parking is kinda hard, but doable. And the surrounding area is nice to hang out and grab food.

This center offers alot of art programs to children that would otherwise not get this type of expore. Their reading and art programs are the best. And their music program inspires young creative. Its very afforable and a perfect way to be inspired.
