I do my laundry here sometimes. They have places nearby where you can shop and get things done while your things are being done. The owners of the place are fairly nice and always answer any questions you may have.

I must agree with the other reviews. Very good food, service and ambiance is really nice to spend an afternoon with your girlfriend. The very best exhibits grace these doors and the food is just a dessert to all that candy.
I visited this place about 8 visits so far this year and really never a negative experience. Highly recommended!

Been to the Fillmore Theatre in San Francisco, or as I should politically correctly call it the "SFWeekly Fillmore"? You should go. First, it is totally old school, every time I have gone security has been a cinch and at the top of the stairs you are greeted by a guy who offers you an apple. Apparently, this was for those folks back in the 60's tripping on acid. I guess apples are comforting. The band selection is rich. Wait around long enough and chances are your favorite band will play. Bar is good, standing room only on the bottom level, but don't miss the balcony. You will be able to watch your favorite musicians up close and personal create magic. GO!

If you're looking for a vet who specializes in felines and have a large budget for your cat's medical needs, the Animal Farm Pet Hospital is the place for you. I took my cat here once and walked out with a whopper of a bill. Animal Farm Pet Hospital is soooo expensive, but I must say Dr Diegmann and his staff are crazy for cats and will go to any lengths to keep them going. I can say this with certainty because I have a relative who spent thousands at the Animal Farm Pet Hospital keeping her 20+ year old arthritic cat with heart & kidney problems alive, but if you ask her, she'd say she has no regrets and takes her new cat to him.

What a better combination than to have art of roman architecture and science in one palace. The Palace held the artwork for the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition. Now the last remaining structure, it houses multiple experiments glorifying science phenomenons.
The Palace is a wonderful place to photograph. Set in overgrown landscaping and a pond housing wildlife, it is a natural backdrop for scenes in movies, like 'The Rock'. The terracotta columns contrasts very well against the blue sky (day or night). The artisans that built the originals were flown in from Europe. Beautiful, you have to see it and feel it for yourself.

This was a very nice theater. I saw the Lion King here. The actors were very good, but of course they had been rehersing for a long time. The theater itself was nice and big, and the ushers were all uniformed and very sweet. They had souveniers and other little things to buy, but when I came in they had handed me a free bag of goodies. There were snacks and drinks/ other refreshments out for asle as well. Parking.. you will have to come by train or BART unless you want to park 3 blocks away..

I am not a huge biker but I do know a thing or two about how a customer should be treated and thats exactly what happened here. City Cycle saw my bike from start to finish and explained everything to me before and as they worked on it. No problems, a bit on the higher price side, but well worth it for the service I think!

After reading the previous review, I thought I should offer up my own two cents. Yes, it's true that sometimes the shows aren't funny and that if you're looking for slapstick, "skits" and one-liners all night long, you too might be disappointed with the shows put on by BATS Improv. Because BATS does theatre, not standup. I've been to a bunch of their shows, and you can pretty much tell from the show description whether the content will be comic, dramatic, or some of each. But it's ALWAYS compelling and entertaining. I do agree (with the previous reviewer) that the cast is extremely creative and talented, and that's why I like their shows, whether or not the content makes me laugh. Because they tell great STORIES. I've laughed LOTS at their shows (mostly during the musicals and during the Theatresports matches), but some of the shows are indeed more serious, and that's when I'm even more impressed, because it's easy to go for the cheap laugh -- it's much more difficult to tell a great story, and this is where the BATS actors really prove their decades of experience vs. the other improv troupes around the Bay Area. I think they're fantastic, but I would definitely recommend that visitors read the show descriptions before purchasing tickets so you know what to expect going in.

The Japanese Tea Garden is located in Golden Gate Park. It is very beautiful there, especially in the spring time. It's very relaxing to take a stroll around there. I love walking up and down the Japanese bridge next to the zen garden. Admission is also very cheap, only 3.50. It is definitely a great place to spend some time relaxing during the weekend.

My friend and I went on a low budget tour of SF and we found this place at Golden Gate Park. To our dismay, it costs money to enter, but we paid the price and were thoroughly pleased. The garden is not all that big, so do not imagine anything like the Huntington Garden in Pasadena. It is small and cozy and very peaceful. You can walk around the enter place in ten minutes. I recommend doing a few rounds and walking backwards and taking various paths to get to the same place because the experience every time is VERY different. I especially like this one bridge that is very difficult to cross, but very fun too. The stairs are nice and everything from the rocks to the plants are pleasing to the eye. I have not tried the tea at this place, so I am in no position to talk about that here.
