They have fantastic, affordable art, and the gallery atmosphere is casual and friendly. Plus it's a huge space, so there are always lots of pieces from which to choose. It's a great gallery!

Zoo-Ink Screen Print is like Copy World. The shop does printing for you like books, make flyers, posters and etc. The price is not that bad you can talk to the people about the pricing of each job. Nice local place if you do not want to go far or a big company.
I recomend checking it out but do compare it with other places you are familiar with - never hurts to shop around!

I have had bad experiences twice with Zoom Systems. You think I would have learned the first time. Job hunting is stressful enough without going to a personnel agency where they are so full of themselves that they deluge you with paperwork and talking and filling out forms like a robot and give you nothing. Iam very marketable - I got a job on my own in 4 days after I left them - and I was out of town for 2 years. There are so many other agencies - I'll give my rating on other agencies that treat you like real human beings. This one does not.

This is a great radio station for people who enjoy alternative rock and rock. It is the 2nd largest alt-rock station in the nation. They also have special weekly programs devoted to local bands and imported music, dance music, music from the 80s and 90s, and Loveline (an advice talk show with two doctors/radio personalities). The station features about ten different DJs, all very talented and with unique personalities. The musical selection is vast. In addition, the radio personalities inform listeners of current events in the local music world, and give away many many great prizes for listening. There are also occasional famous musical guests who visit the station. The station is great for anyone who likes rock and has an overall fun and openminded vibe.

I read about this tour when I was looking into planning our vacation in San Francisco. I have always watched those haunted travel shows and this sounded right up my alley.
This starts out in the historic Queen Ann Hotel and then continues on a walking tour around town.
Granted we didn't really experience any ghosts that night - but it was fun to learn the history and the stories that the tour guide had to share.
Probably not the best for small kids since it is done late at night and requires a lot of walking. Wear walking shoes and dress in layers since if can get cold during the tour.
This tour has actually been featured on the Travel Channel! I didn't realize this until I saw the tour guide and he looked familiar.

On the edge of San Francisco's Japan Town lies Turbo Planet Cd, a very, very small, independent store that sells Korean CDs, DVDs, VCDs, posters, cassette tapes, and Korean magazines. Although some of the items may be a bit pricey compared to online stores like YesAsia.com, they carry a lot of items that are not available at most other places. Out-of-print, discontinued, and rare items may be found at Turbo Planet Cd. The only problem my friends and I ran into is that two of the employees' English isn't the best. They are, however, very, very nice (they have given my friends and me posters and such for free on two different occasions!).
