Although the ambiance isn't as flashy as other sushi restaurants in the city, the sushi itself is the best! Very creative rolls and always, always fresh.

Fresh ingredients, big portions worth their prices and efforts of going to Sanchez16th. Good vibe for dinning experience, a place where you can enjoy twilight sky with a few of walking traffics.
Pros: Two thumbs up

The food here is as authentic as it gets in San Francisco. It resembles Chinese home style cooking. I tend to order the same items each time I dine here, that is, fried crab, pan fried ground pork with preserved fish, large bean sprouts, and steamed fished filet with chinese ham. It's always packed. Make sure you make reservations before you go.

To tell you where I'm coming from, the best Neopolitan style (aka "New York Style") pizza in the USA comes from Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Brooklyn, NY. Google/Bing that and you'll see. Arinell's is a close number two.
You can always judge the quality of a pizza by its plain cheese slice, and Arinell's shines here. If you need to dress up a slice with toppings to overcome the basic slice, you're starting out wrong.
And there are good quality toppings here too. Pepperoni, mushroom, onion, garlic - all the classics.
Arinell's is perfect in every way: Just the right thickness, amount of cheese, sauce, and seasoning - cooked to perfection.
You want cranberries, goat cheese, or chicken on your pizza? Go somewhere else.
TIP: Buy a pizza stone for $15 and heat your left overs the next day. Tastes every bit as good as the first slice.
Pros: Simple perfection

Pesce is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. They have a great selection of fresh oysters (try a vodka shooter here!) and a decent wine list. You can't go wrong with any of their seafood dishes. I love the seafood soup (not the cioppino). The orzo/crab salad is delicious as well. Their menu changes all the time, so try something different. Service is usually good also. Great food, great wine, great service, great ambiance!
Pros: Beautiful space, great food
Cons: sometimes long waits

EXCELLENT Sashimi! The place is casual (we sat at the sushi bar), unpretentious and the price was right. Service was good as well. We will be back for the Hamachi, Sake, Albacore, Tuna, and Waloo Sashimi. Wonderful!
Pros: Fresh Sushi, casual atmosphere, good value

The oldest Italian restaurant in America! If nothing this place deserves 5 stars for remaining as an institution. But that should not mean the food is mediocre. Far from that, I've had the best veal dishes (marsala & picatta) and home made pastas at this place. Service is professional yet friendly.
I got to meet Chef Gianni during my last dinner who gave us some great wine recommendations.
Place is decorated with some of the greatest b/w pictures from the early 1900's reflecting the history of San Francisco and that era.
Fior d'Italia is definitely on top of my list for authentic Italian food!
Pros: All you can eat pasta for $18.86 on wednesdays!
Cons: Too much food

If you are into sustainable foods with great flavors and fast service from a great looking staff that cares this place is for you! My friends and I have been raving about this place since it opened and are now concerned that we may not get a seat on their huge out door sunny patio. I don't know what is better the food or the view of all the beautiful people! I Love this place!

This is the perfect, healthy unique tasty salad lunch spot. So happy it's come to the area! My suggestion is go earlier as they often run out of key ingredients on busy days though.
Pros: delicious!
