I had been going to Cinta Salon for 5 years before moving out of the area, and miss this salon so terribly! I had seen many stylists over the years, but my favorite and most recent had been Marcus. He is so personable, and makes me feel like a million bucks whenever I get my hair cut! He is very skilled and uses his own creativity, but also follows your requests for the look you want. End results are always fabulous! Cinta Salon staff are also fantastic, and pretty much anyone you get a cut with are awesome as well. Best salon in the city with a convenient location downtown between Powell and Montgomery stops! Pros: Talented, Creative, Friendly, Worthwhile prices, Location Cons: None!

First, let me say that I have worked for 10 years at two upscale salons, so I have very high standards. Cinta met and exceeded my high expectations. I was visiting San Francisco for a formal evening wedding and wanted to have my hair styled. I only had a small window of time available that day and the front desk took very good care of me. Liam, who styled my hair was wonderful! He created the style exactly how I imagined it. He was also very personable. Everyone at the wedding complimented me on how nice my hair looked. The salon itself was also beautiful and clean. If in the area again, I know exactly where to go. Pros: Professional, Personable, Goes the Extra Mile

This is the first time I used Citysearch to find a Salon in San Francisco. My impression of Cinta Salon was not that great. However, Master Stylist Hang gave me an amazing haircut. She was very attentive and detailed and nice too! The salon was a little too hectic for me but Hang definitely made it worth while. Pros: Great haircut, Great stylist, Great service Cons: Too hectic, impersonal atmosphere, Too nervous

I actually loved my last haircut (from another salon out of state) and needed to get a trim. I went to Cinta thinking the professionals there would understand service & customer needs. When I explained that I just wanted a trim to the stylist, Heng, she ARGUED with me -- saying, "what will be the change then??" I said I didn't WANT a change...that was the whole point. I just wanted a trim. We went back and forth for awhile with her actually refusing to cut my hair if I was going to be critical of what she was doing. In the end, I ended up with a cut much more layered and different than what I started with. I was very disappointed and upset because whose hair is it anyway? Certainly not the stylist's....
