Heather has been coloring and cutting my hair for over eight years now--perhaps even longer. I have followed her around the City, and am glad she's back at Stephen Saiz--I like the salon and the downtown location. Heather does the best blond I've seen--my hair ends up an amazing, natural-looking shade ("butter blond" as she calls it), with wonderful texture. She also gives great cuts--the style is always very current, but never too extreme (I work in a corporate setting, and I have to try to look "professional" so the men take me seriously), although I know she can do other styles--she gave my skateboarding son a great cut, also. She usually gets me in and out of there very fast, which I love. I have referred friends to her who have also become loyal clients. Finally, it's always such a pleasure to see Heather--she's funny and friendly, and I've really enjoyed getting to know her over the years. Pros: Nice salon, nice people, downtown location

Noushin is a wonderful hairstylist. I started going to her at Level 4 Salon and have since moved with her to her new salon. She is an amazing hairstylist and is consistently good. She is dependable in that your hair will look the same every time. She also does an excellent job of making you feel comfortable. It will be a truly enjoyable experience. She is very present in her hair cuts and so creates a trusting relationship. I look forward to getting my hair cut. She is also very fun to talk to, understanding, and non judgmental. She instantly knows what will work for you and picks up on who you are in order to create a look that will work for you and your lifestyle.

I had the great fortune to first meet Stephen over 25 years ago when he was at Fabulous Faces, and made the move over to Features when he, Dwight and a couple friends opened their own shop. My hair color and cut is always very natural looking and I've received many compliments through the years. I tried another salon once about 20 years ago and regretted it immediately. Stephen quickly got my hair back on track. Dwight has also done some stunning "up" hairstyles for me for special occasions when Stephen was booked. My only problem is remembering to book my appointment ahead of time, because he is so popular. Stephen is not only my hairstylist, he's become a friend, and has often stayed late or changed his schedule to accommodate me. I always feel great when I walk out of the Stephen Saiz Salon. The location is extremely convenient as well. Pros: 2 blocks to Sutter Stockton & Union St. & many restaurants & shops

My regular stylist(she is great ) had a medical emergency and i had a wedding to attend , based on all the great reviews for NOOSHI and the STEPHEN SAIZ salon , i was able to get a last minute appointment with her. she is awsome and i love my hair cut , she did great job of styling as well . i give her five big wow , and it was worth every penny Pros: fresh new suggestions

I"ve been going to nooshin for about one year she's absolutely fantastic . never in a rush and always spends a long time deciding what i want and what would look good on me and why it would . the girl is truly talented and great to spend the hours with . i have spent a lot of $$$$$$ on my hair in some of the top salons in various cities and she is really the best . my highlights have never looked better so natutal but still outstanding all at once . and same for my cut always stylis and great . she gives me cuts i never knew i could have . she is all around a talent with a great eye for style

I wanted to write a review a bout my stylist nooshi and what great job she dose on my hair . but i'm finding myself wanting to defend the stephen saiz salon i love that salon . i started going to nooshi at level 4 salon which was Ok .i truly like her work and i would go to her at any salon . but i was very happy when she made the moved to stephen saiz . the salon it self is very nice and beautiful and i love the owner stephen he himself welcomed in the first time that i went in . every one at the salon is professional fun and very relaxed and thay have the best tea cup litte dog . it really makes me wounder how anyone would give that dog anything but five star even the( DDOG) has a nice hair cut !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Pros: THE BEST DDOG& GREAT VALUE

after reading all the great reviews a bout ( nooshin) and the salon . I went to get my highlights and hair cut for the first time at stephen saiz salon by nooshin the salon has a trendy and professional atmosphrere . i went there just wanting a small change . but ended up getting the best cut and color of my life . nooshin took all my requests into consideration but still added her own creative PZAZZ!!!!!!!! i walked out with gorgeous hair . my fiance absolutely loves my new look . my hair cut is also easy to style . i get a lot of inquiries as to who dose my hair . i kid you not give her a try you will be glad that you did Pros: she has evening appointments

My personal experience at this salon was very substandard. It was not as top notch as you would expect for the outrageous price they charge to cut and color. The salon smelled like dogs, which by the way use the salon as their private restroom. The stylists were so busy arguing with eachother that they failed to pay attention to the time that my highlights had been processing, leaving me with a mediocre Supercuts new do! I will name no names...but take heed to this salon and the various outstanding reviews. Scam artists do exist, yes, but beware of salons writing their own reviews to attract clients. Then again, what is good for one client is not necessarily right for another. Use caution and good judgement when considering who's hands you are putting your personal appearance into. After all, you are the one that has to walk around looking that way when you leave.

I have followed Stephen Saiz around San Francisco for - well, let's just say, more than 20 years. Even when I moved to FL for a while every trip back to the city included time with Stephen. The disappointing thing was that others could not replicate his artistry even after receiving detailed instruction and step-by-step pictures of what he had done. The man's a true artist. Now that I'm back in the bay area I'm relieved to have Stephen back in control of the many cutting implements and color he uses on my hair. I travel all over the country and strangers have stopped me many times (no, not in bars when fueled by adult beverages!) to comment on how great my hair looks. I've always known he is a genius but it's nice to have stylists in other parts of the country ask me who does my hair because the cut or color is extraordinary. He is the only person I've ever trusted enough to say "do whatever you think is best." Everyone should experience this once in their lives - it's quite the rush. You will walk out of there looking magnificent.
