Chinese food in San Francisco, how can you go wrong. But if you want the cream of the crop go to Empress. Authentic and super tasty.
Pricing is good, but if you really like chinese food like I do, price isn't the option, taste is!
Come try them out and then write your own review.

While I am not big on old fashioned/traditional hotels I must say the customer service makes up for the decor. Everyone from the conceierge to the bellmen, catering and banquets to the front desk people were awsome! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Nice location right off of market street.
I wish the gym was a little better than it was but it had all the equiptment though it was a little dated.
Pros: Nice customer service!!!
Cons: Rooms are a bit traditional, gym was a little dated.

my husband and i are honeymooning in san francisco and the wine country. his office gave us a pretty hefty gift certificate from the cliff house. we were skeptical at first because the locals didn't give this place good props... but, we were pleasantly surprised. we showed up early, around 5 and were seating right next to the window. we ordered a bottle of wine and two DELICIOUS meals. the view was incredible! the waitress was lovely and so friendly. we spent the entire day in golden gate park and dinner at the cliff house was a great cap to the day. it was a WONDERFUL day! we'd HIGHLY recommend cliff house and not just because we're tourists, the food is actually VERY good!
Pros: view, food, wait staff, everything
Cons: nothing

I had my first chicken marsala here and it was GOOD! I don't like pasta when the cream is too thick and the entree was perfect. I came here with a group of 9 people and we made reservations beforehand so we didn't have to wait long. The table was prepared for us and service was good. I would recommend this place if your stuck deciding where to go for dinner.

very good chinese food there. go there for dim sum during the afternoon or go there for dinner. pricing is reasonable and you get quality food. i enjoyed the lobster as well as the shark fin soup. it gets quite crowded during the weekends if you plan on having dim sum there, so go early! good luck!

I've used Delancey St. Moving twice - once moving apartment to apartment in SF, and another time moving from SF to the peninsula. Both times they exceeded my expectations. They were there first thing in the morning, work incredibly hard and carefully, are very courteous and patient, and always came in on or under estimate (which was the best of the various quotes I received). They were really careful moving nice furniture, not bumping into walls etc.. The guys take the job very seriously and are sticklers for the Foundation rules - for example, I offered them some sodas and they said they could only take water (but they had brought their own). At the end I tried to tip them but they politely told me that in lieu of tips I could make a donation to Delancey St. Foundation.
One of the things I really love about these guys is that they tend to round down rather than up to the nearest half hour. So rather than charging me for an extra half hour when they finished at 3:15, then only charged me till 3.
Definitely recommend Delancey St. Moving

This is the successor restaurant to the first Hunanese restaurant in America. It, and all the other Henry's in the area, serve identical menus, but I prefer the homestead, still run by Henry's kids. What you'll never find anyplace else: smoked hammmmmm. Fish warning: landlocked province; delicious with fermented bean sauce, but really, not the most important thing to eat here. All the others are either direct but shallow imitations like Brandy Ho's, or Hunanese in name only. The original is still right here!
P.S. I always park at night in the lot open right at the corner north of the restaurant on Sansome, no tows yet! (22 years)
Pros: Hot & sour beef, Chicken or Eggplant Salad, Marty's Special
Cons: parking, fish
