This place is by far my fiance and I FAVORITE restaurant!!!! The garlic roasted crab is phenomenal! I mean, it leaves you wanting more every time and no where else compares! The seafood combination fried rice is spectacular! The garlic noodles is also a famous dish here. And we love the fried banana dessert! If I could eat here every night I would... it is that good! The restaurant does get busy, but if I could tell you one thing it would be.... WAIT! No matter how long it is... wait... you will be so happy you did! Please go try this restaurant! It is just so good! =)

This summer I went to Thailand, it was my first trip. At that time I eat Thai food, I loved it. After coming to my home town I feel like eating Thai food again. After a long search I got Marnee Thai Restaurant. Here I found the same food which I eat in Thailand. Cool Restaurant, Nice Atmosphere, Perfect Service. I am very very happy as if, I feel like I?m eating food in Thailand.

I am just laughing reading all the other reviews. I can see where some of them are coming from. First of all, this is my favorite thin-crust pizza place anywhere, bar none. (I also like Zachary's-type pizza, but that is a different category.) We are about to move to the 'burbs after almost 10 years living in SF, and this is on our list of restaurants to hi t one more time before we leave.
It is true that the servers don't waste time with saccharin smiles for fussy diners. This is mainly due to SF or Mission culture though. When waiters don't act like your robotic smiling servant in SF, that is part of the fun/challenge, if you appreciate that sort of thing. Cf. Paris or New York - totally the same thing. Enthuse about their unusual tattoo, that is sure to break the ice. Bring your young kid and you get smiles all around.
Also the comments about the expense are basically true... that's SF for you.
The point is the pizza, and it is awesome, with unusual, organic ingredients. A little corn meal dusted on the prep table so that the dough picks it up and it crisps on the bottom. There is always one meat special and one veggie special, you can't go wrong with those. Mmmm when it comes out piping hot, and you take a bite with a sip of the house merlot... killer.
This is an authentically SF place. A little expensive, a lot of character, interesting people working there, awesome food, which they are deservedly a little snobby about.
Pros: killer pizza, decent win list

We were a group of six and sat in the end of the restaurant. The food was very flavorful, tasty and the services was great. I will definitely go back there.
Pros: Great Thai food, very friendly wait staff and good value
Cons: neighborhood is so so and there isn't really anything around to meet for drinks before or after

Walking into Caesar's,you get the feel of stepping back in time as you stroll through the white marble entrance and long bar. White table cloths and neatly dressed staff add old world charm.
Pros: Best minestrone soup & lamb
Cons: A little pricey

Ok, I have read the terrible reviews people wrote about Alioto's and I am SHOCKED!!! I live on the East Coast and every single time I make it out to San Fran or the vicinity I make a special trip to Alioto's. The food is so good, the wine list is great, the service is amazing. The view is spectacular and the seats are cozy and inviting. I really can't fathom having a bad experience here. I always go for dinner and I don't feel like it is touristy and I have never ever had a problem with my bill. In fact, once when I went, I was chatting with the maitre d and this and that for about 10 minutes before sitting down and he ended up giving our table some free appetizers because, I don't even know why, I guess just because he liked us! Please give this place a try, you will not regret it.

The Atrium is the most stylish and elegant restaurant in the financial district, and up there in the bay area. The gorgeous hand painted walls, the artwork, orchids, marble, granite, glass, and loving creative decorative touches---it feels so nice to be there, bathed in beauty, and treated so well by everyone on the staff. Friendliness by all staff, including bartenders, host, and all servers has been raised to the level of a professional art. So many of my colleagues feel at home, including clients and many associates, who have been coming here for 20 years. The food is faultless at least, always interesting and pleasing, and impeccably presented and most delicious at best. I can't recommend a finer place to dine.
