this is by far the number one bakery in san francisco outside of dowtown. it is very tiny but is always jam packed. it has all the different breads, cookies, scones, pastries imagineable and smells great. its pizza is fantastic and the prizes are extremely low as well.you should all go here!

Arizmendi is a great place to go for a slice of pizza. They have creative toppings - only one type per day - and the dough is so, so good. It's a great spot for a quick, cheap lunch. Or pick up a Chocolate Thing - there's nothing like it anywhere - and a cup of really well-brewed coffee, and sit on the outside bench or walk into GG Park for a nice breakfast. The breads and rolls and all are super good, too. You really can't go wrong. And this is a worker-owned cooperative. That's nice, too, right?

Arizmendi's is great! They make the best English muffins and scones that I have ever tasted. Their pizza ain't bad either. Once you walk in, you won't be able to resist the urge to sample a little bit of everything! A brioche here, a pecan rolls there. Arizmendi's is a co-op so everyone there tries to make it the best it can be!
